“Throughout my course I gained extensive industry work experience at BBC Look North, ITV Calendar and Radio Aire. Each one was incredibly valuable and provided me with a great insight into broadcasting and working in a fast paced newsroom. On the course I acquired all the required practical skills I needed for my career in the industry such as using JVC cameras, Avid editing software, Burli to create news bulletins and Adobe Audition to create podcasts. I also had the proud moment of winning the BJTC Award for Best Original Story 2018.”
