Encompassing all aspects of contemporary film, from cinemas to smartphones, and from studios to fans, ultimately our goal is to turn you into a thinker, maker and creator combined. This future-facing programme places a particular emphasis on film as it is emerging today – a truly global form of art and business, in which filmmakers must constantly adapt to rapid technological and cultural change, and where Hollywood increasingly finds itself overlapping (and competing) with Silicon Valley.
