A green and sustainable campus

At Huddersfield we’re committed to sustainability, reducing our impact on the environment and tackling the Climate Emergency. Our campus will be carbon neutral by 2030, with a Carbon Management Plan that includes carbon reduction measures, biodiversity on campus, action on travel and digital solutions that cut carbon on and off campus. We’re increasingly aware of the impact our buildings and open spaces can have on the wellbeing of those who use them. We’re incorporating wellbeing improvement measures into our buildings, new and old, to provide learning environments that you can thrive in.
