APPLY
Ready to move from where you are to where you want to be? UNT is here to help you every step of the way. We have one of the most student-friendly transfer policies of any university in the region because we care about your future and are dedicated to your success.
Step 1: Review our transfer admission requirements at admissions.unt.edu/ transfer.
Admission requirements differ depending on the number of hours being transferred and your current college GPA.
Your SAT/ACT scores and high school transcript are taken into consideration if you have fewer than 30 college credit hours. If you have been out of high school for five years or longer, you may qualify for Adult Admission.
Step 2: Submit your UNT application and app fee via applytexas.org or commonapp.org.
Application fee* ($75 for U.S. citizens and permanent residents; $85 for international students) *$90 after July 1 for new fall transfers or Dec. 1 for new spring transfers
Step 3: Submit separate official transcripts from each college you’ve attended. If you’ve earned fewer than 30 college credit hours, submit an official high school transcript, as well as official SAT or ACT scores.
