to our International Agent Conference 2024
Thank you for confirming your attendance at the University of Salford’s International Agent Conference 2024. We are looking forward to welcoming you to our campus to celebrate our partnership and to showcase key areas of the University. In this document, you will find everything you need to know about the conference.
MEET THE TEAM
During the conference, you will be staying at The Ainscow Hotel, Trinity Way, Salford, M3 5EN. You can check in from 14:00 on Monday 13th May and must check out by 11:00 on Friday 17th May.
ARRIVAL IN SALFORD ARRIVING AT MANCHESTER AIRPORT
You can either take a taxi or the train to get from Manchester Airport to The Ainscow Hotel.
Taxis are located outside of all airport terminals.
To take the train, walk to the airport train station and board a train to Salford Crescent station. The hotel is around a 10-minute walk from Salford Crescent station.
ARRIVING FROM WITHIN THE UK
If you are travelling from any other part of the UK, we would suggest taking the train to Manchester Piccadilly station. From here you can either take a taxi or walk to The Ainscow Hotel.
There is a taxi rank located at the back of Manchester Piccadilly station.
Walking from Manchester Piccadilly station will take approximately 30 minutes.

Breakfast for each day of the conference is included in your hotel booking. All other meals will be provided by the University. If you haven’t informed us of your dietary requirements yet, please contact a member of the International Recruitment team.
FOOD AND DRINK WHAT TO PACK
May in the UK is generally warm with average temperatures of between 9°C and 15°C, however, rain is very common. Most events will be held indoors but there will be some travel outdoors on foot throughout the week. We suggest bringing a waterproof layer, sufficient warm clothing and suitable footwear.
