New Adelphi Building
/ New Adelphi is our £55 million cultural and creative hub housing our School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology
/ Here you’ll find a 350-capacity theatre, industry standard recording studios, dance and performance studios, material workshops, an open plan fashion studio, photography studios and much more.
/ All of these facilities allow us and our students to strengthen the relationships we have with industry collaborators, including HOME, The Lowry, Islington Mill, ITV and the BBC
Maxwell Building
/ Our main reception is located at the front of Maxwell
/ Maxwell is home to Salford Business School

Peel Building
/ The Peel Building is the oldest building on campus. It was opened by King George V and Queen Mary in 1896 to house the Salford Royal Technical Institute
/ Today, Peel is home to our Human and Natural sciences courses and the building hosts regular public events in its impressive concert hall
Cockcroft Building
/ Here you’ll find our Bodmer Laboratories, a flexible science lab space that can hold up to 144 students in its biggest configuration
/ On the outside of the building, you’ll find our impressive living wall
/ Other facilities include the world’s first Energy House - a typical 1920s end terrace house that has been reconstructed in a fully environmentally controllable chamber
Newton Building
/ Shhh! In here you’ll find the Anechoic Chamber. As one of the quietest rooms in Europe, it’s perfect for testing acoustics
/ You’ll also find eight purpose-built industrystandard film sets for our film students to gain practical skills working on a real set environment
/ At the back of the building is a purpose-built lab for Autonomous and Automated Vehicle Technology and home to ‘Jouli’, Salford’s completely autonomous vehicle!
Lady Hale Building
/ The building is aptly named after the UK’s first female law lord - and Baroness of Richmond - Brenda Hale
/ Lady Hale has a mock court where our law students can practice their mooting debates. Plus several open study spaces
/ At the front of this building, you’ll see our Careers Hub where all students can get advice and guidance from our expert Careers and Enterprise Advisers

The Clifford Whitworth Library offers a fresh, modern learning space with PC suites, Mac computers, laptops to loan, bookable work rooms and a café all available to students
