GET SETTLED IN If you’re leaving the family home or your home country for the first time, you might feel a bit worried about where you’re going to live. Don’t be. There’s accommodation on campus and we work with Manchester Student Homes to find off-campus homes across the city. Your own place is part of the adventure. Make sure you have your accommodation booked before you travel to the UK. Visit salford.ac.uk/accommodation
GET REGISTERED Before you travel, look out for your email invitation to attend our international check-in event. This important event is held on campus for all international students to check your original qualifications used to obtain your offer, along with your passport and your visa decision letter from the Home Office. Once you have completed this, you will be able to register online. Our staff will guide you through the steps on-screen, ensuring that your personal information is correct (including a UK address and telephone number) and that your fee payment is in place. You can collect your Tier 4 Biometric Residence Permit (visa) if you requested to have it delivered to the University.
