SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID
USF is committed to an affordable education for its Fighting Saints. It’s true that 100% of freshmen receive some type of financial aid at USF, with over 90 scholarships and grants available. For those who meet admission criteria, academic awards and scholarships range from $1,000 to full tuition per year!
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
We welcome students from all kinds of places (including 23 countries), for all kinds of reasons (more than 100 degree options). There are no giant lecture halls on campus, and with an average class size of 13 students, you can count on focused, personal attention from your professors.
CAMPUSES
USF operates three Joliet campuses. Main Campus has been at the heart of the historic Cathedral Area for more than 100 years. Just two miles away, the St. Clare Campus houses the Leach College of Nursing. St. Bonaventure Campus in downtown Joliet includes art facilities, a mock trial courtroom and a business incubator.
ATHLETICS
Owners of four NAIA national championships, the Fighting Saints are over 400 student-athletes on 22 men’s and women’s teams. They excel on the playing field and in the classroom, boasting a 3.31 cumulative GPA annually. With athletic scholarships available for many athletes, it pays to play!

THE SCIENCES
USF’s LaVerne & Dorothy Brown Science Hall contains cutting-edge labs, interactive classrooms, and open study spaces. Students learn in small classes with faculty who work alongside them in disciplines like biology and biochemistry, with a host of pre-professional medical concentrations for those interested in pursuing a career in those fields. Science students can also explore the natural sciences at the new Charlotte Codo Prairie research farm in Frankfort, Illinois.

NURSING & HEALTH CARE
USF has educated generations of skilled nurses who have important roles in hospitals and clinics across the country. In USF’s Leach College of Nursing, you will receive an exceptional, rigorous nursing education, preparing you to be a competent clinician and an advocate for your patients. You can also follow an allied health path through the College of Arts & Sciences, studying Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiation Therapy and Radiography, or you might decide to pursue a degree in Psychology to help address mental health issues.
