ACADEMIC ECOSYSTEM

HAVE IT ALL For nearly as long as you can remember you’ve been in school, gaining skills,

asking questions, getting good at finding answers. It is all leading somewhere.

That’s the point. Going places. Having great choices.

Soon you’ll be choosing where to go to

college. You want it to have everything— professors who make you think, friends

who make you laugh, a gorgeous campus,

amazing adventure, life-changing discovery.

That’s why we’re excited you’re looking at the University of Vermont. And we can’t wait to tell you more about us.

1

THERE’S A LOT TO EXPLORE IN OUR

Academic Ecosystem Fields of study here are broad.

We have more than 100 majors. You’ll be able to explore from many angles.

Intellectual pools are deep.

98% of classes are taught by full-time faculty — top scholars who love to teach.

Ideas flow in all directions.

English majors study economics. Engineering majors study ethics. Because knowing why and where to build a bridge is as important as how.

Interested in doing your own research? Just ask. 38% of undergraduates

do research with a faculty mentor on all kinds of projects helping humankind.
