project brief
Cerebro is an accredited private learning institution for children who have cognitive learning differences (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, etc.) that applies the Montessori method of learning. Cerebro is designed to be an environment that acknowledges cognitive differences and values their needs through selfcuriosity and self-motivation.

design overview
Dr. Maria Montessori, an educator who first coined the term and first explored the Montessori method, was an advocate for intentional and impactful learning. Because of this, the ideology Cerebro Montessori represents unconventional and equitable learning for neurodiverse children. The design language brings focus on organic and asymmetrical shapes, unconventional hues that are not common to the traditional learning to represent the diverse spectrum of the neurodiverse community.

Montessori gears away from the traditional learning ecosystem and so is the identity. In order to reflect this, Cerebro represents itself by expressing colors that are unconventional, symbolizing autonomous learning in a free environment.

The typeface that is used on the logo is a modified Vanelope. The typeface is chosen to appeal as kid and family friendly in the environment.
The primary typeface that is across all platforms of Cerebro Montessori is Visby Sans Serif. It is a geometrical typeface that defines stark clarity and readability in print and digital format.

The symbol of Cerebro Montessori is a visual unity of the three aspects it fully represents:
Diverse Abstract Cerebral
It is an abstract and united form of a brain and puzzle piece that holds a diverse spectrum from within, structured with organic lines to create the overall shape. The crevices face out, not only to hint the name of the institution, but a representation of standing out.
