PROJECT BRIEF Established in 2019, PACKIT is a Las Vegas based, structural packaging design studio that its pure focus is cardboard engineering and delivering solutions. Available local or global for small to large projects, creating dielines, hand-cut prototypes, and fresh thinking. Packit provides packaging development services to our clients, we focus on solving problems for clients. As well as providing the best opening/handling and experiences for customers. We’ve just started our business for around 1 year. The name "Packit" is a play on the word “packet” as we are aiming for an overall high-quality package design for our customers, as well as having a fast turnaround time compares to the rest of the industry.

DESIGN OVERVIEW The aim of the brand identity is to create a pleasing, simple design with white as basic colors, picking orange and green for decorative colors to show our company's focus on organic product and packaging designs. The choice of typefaces was also aimed based on this idea, we want to pick something that looks professional, gridbased looking typeface to show preciseness of the quality we are aiming for. It shouldn't be overwhelming as our package designs are only lifting the product and help to push for better sales, not overtaking the product itself.

COLOR PALETTE
Packit mainly consists of only 2 colors when it comes to its brand identity: orange and green. Along with black, the color palette is created. Both colors are not dominating when it's only used as accident colors, and also showcase our ability of working with minimum elements to still make the design look overall pleasing. While maintaining all of its functions. Any color other than the orange and green should be carefully considered before its use. As it completely drives away from the brand image the company's trying to showcase.

TYPEFACE
We picked Rhino Sans for the logo mainly because of its aesthetic, clean looking. And also for a look that its style could ties with a creative studio to show the innovative creativity the company is capable of. This typeface should only be used for the logo and any other headline elements, it is not recommended to use it for body type. Be Vietnam is our choice for any bodytype elements. The type is very grid-looking, and also ties with the aesthetic look of the logo. Overall the two typefaces compliments each other. While also showing uniqueness in each.

LOGO symbol description Outer panel of a box, we picked orange for the outer color to showcase a very typical color of a package(usually brown or orange). Boost the orange to show contrast and also adds a fashionable sense to the design.
Panels inside of a box, represents our actual solution for package design. This is where the function part comes along and we picked green to represent that our prouct is eco-friendly and recyclable.
This panel is missing because we want to merge the symbol better with the logo, as well as giving the hint that our package is to only set off our client's product. It takes a good product along with a good package to complete the product as a whole.

VARIATIONS
Breaking the symbol and the logotype apart is acceptable. However, it is not recommended because it would break the overall brand identity of the company. There still needs to be a primary logo present somewhere on the merchandise or product if insists to use this version.
