Introduction
Project Preview Mydas is the leading fashion biometrics company of the 22nd century. They have been lauded with with successfully changing the public perception of ‘augs’ from a necessity for the working class to products of self expression for the rich. Before Mydas, augs were only available for personal use in the black market, being primarily seen in the slums of the lower sub-districts of the major western megacities. It was the time that founder Gordon Mydas spent tinkering there as a youth that allowed him to see the potential of augs as not just tools for working class citizens, but as complex, beautiful machines that could serve as an extension of one’s self.

Design Overview Mydas’ design language is evocative of how they gained their position at the top of the fashion biometrics industry: A simple, ultra-modern aesthetic that is backed up by the highest quality products that represent our focus on form over function. Though very simple, Mydas’ branding makes heavy use of the grid as a visual element. This tool serves as a constant reminder of Mydas’s attention to detail and laser point accuracy.

Mark Mydas’ main mark is a geometrical shape inspired by hexagons. The mark features a bold that protects the shape behind it, them being same with the primary shape being a silhouette and the background shape being a wireframe. The two shapes come together to create a mark that is representative of the union between man and machine that we help facilitate at Mydas. The background shape represents humanity.
The foreground shape represents robotics. 11
