MASTERS SWIM

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS

Personal training for the advanced and novice swimmer. Masters program is recreational based. Our program is geared around the individual swimmer. Generally our practices run for an hour and people will swim anywhere between 1600-3000 yards per practice. When you do come to a practice, just give the coaches a brief history of yourself and tell them what you wish to accomplish, and they’ll help you achieve your goal.

Private Adult or Youth Swimming Lessons may be taken at any level. Please allow two weeks for processing and scheduling. Participants will need to schedule lesson dates and times directly with the instructor who will contact them. The price includes eight sessions, each 30 minutes long. Minimum age is nine years old.

Summer Camp Mav Kids summer day camp is a recreational camp for children entering 1st grade through the age of 13. Camp consists of seven separate one week sessions that start on June 2, 2014 and continue through July 25, 2014. All participants will need to bring their own lunch every day. Drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the day. The majority of the activities will take place in the Wellness Center, the Milo Bail Student Center, the surrounding UNO campus, Memorial Park, and Elmwood Park. We program all of our activities around weekly themes. This year’s theme is “Around the World in Seven Weeks.” We have presentations from the UNO and Omaha community, art projects, hands-on classroom sessions, and field trips based on those themes. Attendees will also participate in a variety of physical activities in a high energy, yet noncompetitive environment. Once a week, the camp will leave the UNO campus for a half or full day field trip. Parents will be notified at the beginning of each week where the participants will go.
