By the end of 2016 the United Nations iLibrary will hold more than 3,000 publications in all official languages of the United Nations: English, French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Arabic as well as bi-lingual and tri-lingual publications. These publications have been authored by the United Nations departments such as DESA, OHCHR and DPI, and agencies, funds and programs such as UNDP, ECLAC and UNFPA.

The United Nations iLibrary offers a wide range of content for all types of users. It is primarily designed for: • Academic Institutions • Libraries • Research Institutions • Corporations • Governments and Parlaments • Non-governmental Organizations

• Users can read and share the READ version of content on all internet connected desktop and mobile devices • Athens/Shibboleth federated authentication for US and UK institutions • All United Nations iLibrary metadata and full text indexed by the four major Discovery Services by mid-2016: EBSCO EDS, Ex Libris Primo, ProQuest Summon, OCLC WorldCat (metadata only)
