Question How to create an inclusive and vibrant area based on long-term planning, which can not only satisfy the improvement of the ecological environment in the site but also be full of educational significance

Narrative Based on the above research, I think one of the solutions to my problem is to build a central hub that integrates ecological, cultural and educational elements of the three areas around sit and to spread the influence to the surrounding areas with the new opportunities brought by the new transportation network. The questions will be answered by making more people interested in learning how to deal with soil pollution, build a good ecology, and expand the living sphere of the native flora and fauna. I think research is at its best when you get into it and are willing to explore how it works.

Principles Find out the threats Managing land conditions while studying possible hidden threats

Find out the opportunities Finding opportunities for development based on existing historical sites

Find out the solutions Research by the Institute to find the appropriate solution

LAND RECORVERY

Land recovery Anzac Bridge

Section aa' 1:300 @ A3

Before Use low-permeability materials in the lawn area to isolate pollutants and cover the upper layer with healthy soil

After

Nature-based soil remediation technologies use soil-dwelling organisms to biodegrade, stabilize or separate the contaminants.

Collect and crush the existing concrete as a bedrock

Land recovery White Bay

Section bb' 1:300 @ A3

Before Widen the water surface to provide growth conditions gently for mangrove

After

Cover the ground with turf to prevent unpurified gray water from flowing directly into the sea

The educational potential of the planned site in the second stage, this kind of education is not limited to the building and also exists in outdoors elements.

Activities

Habitat Education

Large areas of vegetation, especially the mangrove section, play a role in mitigating the excessively high tidal waves caused by rising sea levels.

Being in

People use it as a place for social and leisure. The college building located on the slope has an excellent landscape balcony, allowing users to study the growth of the ecological forest while also enjoying the WBPS wrapped in natural elements.

Being In - Model

The protruding terrain isolates the noise of traffic on the noisy Anzac Bridge and gathers the water vapour brought by the sea breeze, which provides suitable conditions for the growth of plants.
