Welcome to the University of Gloucestershire Our open event is designed to inform and inspire you, allowing you to investigate our range of new engineering courses. We have developed a suite of engineering programmes aimed at establishing a leading engineering technology community. Our engineering courses are specifically designed with industrial partners in order to provide an accredited qualification.

Course sessions

Meet your course leader and discuss the course on a 1-to-1 or small group basis. Room information will be provided on the day and our student ambassadors will show you the way.

Mechatronics Engineering (MSc)

Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering (MSc)

Explore the challenges and opportunities that mechatronics presents to modern industry. Investigate how organisations can ensure their mechatronic assets are able to meet future demands presented by Industry 5.0, and explore pioneering approaches in the field.

In the era of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0, electrical and electronics systems engineers are playing an essential role in new and exciting fields. Topics of study include power electronics and advanced electronic systems design. Engineering Management (MSc) Offers a career progression route towards senior and leadership roles in industry – whether you’re a recent graduate, or you’ve spent some years in the workplace.

Engineering Technologies (MSc by Research, MRes, PhD)

Gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in control engineering, instrumentation and electronics and develop the ability to synthesise information from a variety of sources to make effective decisions on complex instrumentation and control engineering problems.

Postgraduate researchers studying Engineering Technologies can draw on our wide-ranging expertise within the School of Business and Technology. There’s a strong applied research focus in the school and particular interest in work that engages with the concerns of the user, the needs of businesses and the rapid developments within the engineering sector.

Industrial Sustainable Energy (MSc) An inter-disciplinary programme exploring all aspects of sustainable energy in an industrial context, including technological developments, environmental considerations and economic factors.

The school is active in pure and applied research, knowledge transfer and industrial projects. There are a number of dedicated laboratories for researchers. This strong and dynamic background means that postgraduate researchers – whether full-time or part-time – join a group of 30+ research candidates involved in extending both new knowledge and professional practice.

Industrial Systems Engineering (MSc) Designed to equip you with advanced theoretical knowledge, technical skills and experience of practical application. Focus on digital transformation, as well as implementation and maintenance engineering for products, engineering services and enterprise development. |
