You Don't Own Me

‘You Don’t Own Me’ depicts my struggles with mental health. As someone with Asperges I am more prone to suffering with mental health issues as the world can often seem very overwhelming. My images reflect the emotions I often I can’t describe in words; as a visual person I find it easier for me to explain through imagery. I hope this book can not only help me to express how I feel but also to relate to others that may feel a similar way. Phoebe Booth

My mental health is a ongoing journey some days are absolutely fine, others are not. Although, times can seem dark and overwhelming, I look for the times the when they’re not. Doing this helps me to stay positive and recognise that feelings evolve over time and I won’t always feel the way I do right now.
