Certificate IV in Business The Certificate IV in Business will help you understand the fundamentals of business to support you to explore career options or start your career in business. You will be trained in areas such as developing teams, coordinating and implementing customer service strategies, communicating and building networks and recruiting and selecting staff. The course is delivered through a blended mode of workshops and distance delivery so you will have the flexibility to continue working if you require. The Certificate IV in Business is a nationally recognized vocational qualification, so you can use it to support your application for employment throughout Australia. You can also use the qualification to pursue a higher qualification such as a Diploma of Business or support your application towards further studies at University level.

Study Length

There are monthly intakes for this program. If you are participating in this program with a sponsored place from the University of Wollongong there are set intakes.
Delivery Method
The program is designed as a blended self-paced program. Students are not required to attend daily class, instead attend a series of workshops throughout the twelve month period. Workshops will run every three weeks and students will have access to a fully qualified trainer to support their studies. Resources and text books are also provided to support the student learning experience.
Course Description
You will complete 10 units of competency. Unit topics include: • Customer service strategies • Professional communications • Developing teams • Undertaking project work • Establish networks • Leadership in the workplace • Meetings Management • Developing work priorities • Recruit, select and inducting staff • Implementing and monitoring work health and safety.

There is a range of payment options available for you to pay for the program: 1) In2Uni Scholarship Fully-funded scholarships are available for students who are from a school who participate in the UOW In2Uni program. 2) Pay by Installments You may pay your tuition fee in three equal installments via credit card. 3) Upfront Payment You may choose to pay your fees upfront prior to the commencement of the course by cash, money order, Visa or MasterCard.

This is why we employ professionals who work in the industry to train and assess the relevant vocational qualifications. Each of our Vocational Education trainers have a current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment along with relevant degree.
