SImPHY practically grew up without a father and has pretty much learnt to be a man on the streets. He wants to teach other young men out there who are without fathers that they can be anything that they want to be, can achieve anything they want, that they are not their fathers and can be better men who are not afraid of responsibility.
Despite being a young man he is driven by passion to improve the lives of young South-Africans in whichever way he can. He is one of the founders of Innovating Kasi Organisation (IKO), a non-profit organization that helps young artists learn about the music industry business and later went on to be the chairperson of an NPO called EYM, which simply stands for Engaging Young Minds. The main primary objective of this organization is to instill self confidence in young boys, particularly boys who grow up with absent fathers; he is very passionate about this issue as he was exposed to the challenges of being a boy and growing up without a father.
