He is a proudly South-African brand and excels on what he calls “Inspirational Kwaito”. SImPHY, as he is affectionately known to his fans, was born in Gauteng, Orlando East in Soweto 1989.

Despite being a young man he is driven by passion to improve the lives of young South-Africans in whichever way he can. He is one of the founders of Innovating Kasi Organisation (IKO), a non-profit organization that helps young artists learn about the music industry business and later went on to be the chairperson of an NPO called EYM, which simply stands for Engaging Young Minds. The main

of
this
organization is to instill self confidence in young boys, particularly boys who grow up with absent fathers; he is very passionate about this issue as he was exposed to the challenges of being a boy and growing up without a father.
