Your UPEI education is less expensive than many other Canadian universities, especially when you consider the financial support you’ll receive.

Students with an admissions average over 80% are automatically awarded guaranteed entrance scholarships of up to $3,000 through our Celebrating Student Achievement award program!

There are so many scholarships, awards, and bursaries for new UPEI students. Our Entrance Award Cycle includes over 40 awards in one simple online application form.

Apply before March 1!

Academic Excellence Awards reward all current UPEI students’ academic achievements. Based on your previous year’s average, you can qualify for awards of $500–$3,000.

Generous donor-supported awards are available to students in all programs at UPEI, with many awards based on financial need. Talk to our Scholarships

PEI students entering their first year at UPEI also qualify for the

• george coles bursary: $2,200 per year for up to four years • island advantage bursary: $500–$3,000, based on financial need
