To the surprise of everyone, this year the number of competitors doubled compared to the last edition held in 2019. A total of 133 riders gathered in the waters of the Guadalquivir as it passed through Seville. In this record edition, the mallorcan Aarón Sanchez Quetglas, in the men’s category, and the galician, Esperanza Barreras, in the women’s category, were proclaimed Speed Champions of Spain.

This competition format is very popular and every year they get new riders. Great work from the Central SUP team and the Fesurfing judges on the Guadalquivir river. . . . . . . .

More than 180 riders of all categories started simultaneously under the Triana bridge. A show of boards that ratified the great power of this modality. The Elite and SUB18 categories had to travel 12 km, where Fernando Pérez in the men’s category and Zoe Remolina in the women’s category, climbed to the top of the Elite podium. Amaia Mellado and Sergio Toledo had the same results but in SUB18.

The level of the participants is very high, which shows year after year the growth of this sport.
