This needs to be done by 4pm on Friday 7th March. Thank you

Clubs Next Week Please be advised that all of the school clubs that are ran by our teaching staff will be cancelled next week.

For Information Nearly new Toy, Book and Children’s Items sale We are going to be holding another nearly new toy, book and children's items table top sale at school, on Thursday March 27th, between 2pm and 5.30pm. We will run the sale slightly different this time whereby sellers pay £10 for a table, and keep all of the proceeds themselves. We envisage demand for tables to be quite high, so if you're interested in a table, please contact either Diane Yeoman or Jane Hickson on diane@yeomanfamily.plus.com , or Jane.miitime@gmail.com . Also make a note of the date, as I'm sure they'll be lots of bargains to be had. This is all extra funds for the PTA, and an excellent way to de clutter! So register your interest in a table, and get sorting! Diane Yeoman and Jane Hickson

Battle of the Businesses Thank you to everybody who supported the school during Battle of the Businesses? We raised ÂŁ1030.14 which will go towards purchasing equipment for the children to use on the playground.

Y5/6 Football Team Last Friday (28th Feb) our team played a league game, away to Dee Point. For this game I decided to include some children who hadn't already played for our school team - and they all played well. Although the pitch was bigger than we are used to (almost twice the size of our school pitches), I was particularly proud of the way the team played - good team spirit and they carried on for the whole game. Dee Point started the game very well. They were well organised and passed the ball around. It always felt like they had an extra man in defence and attack. One player played particularly well in the first half, scoring two excellent goals. At half time we made some changes and they had a great impact on the game. Shortly after half time they scored a third, but our team didn't give up and Luke set up Mike to score a goal back to make it 3 - 1. Although we piled on the pressure and had over 10 shots on goal in the second half, the luck just wasn't with us. Not long before the end Dee Point caught us on the break and scored a fourth to seal the victory (4 - 1). Despite the result our team played really well, never giving up and encouraging each other until the end. A special mention goes to Jess Hall as the Dee Point Head (Mr Williams) commented that she was "an exceptional athlete". She played well at the back, regularly beating other players to the ball, passing it or clearing it to safety (even when they had a 5m head start). We have a game today (Friday 7th March) in the Quarter Finals of the Chester & District Cup - away to Tarporley. Then we have two home league games next week - Monday 10th will be against Belgrave and Friday 14th will be against Huntington. Everybody is welcome to come along, we would love to see you there to support our team. Team: Lawrence Dewart, Rory Faulkner, Archie Lea, Jess Hall, Josh Turner Š, Finn Hickey, Tom Scott, Thomas Assinder, Oliver James, Luke Green, Mike Asbridge. Goals: Mike ('25). Man of the Match: Luke Green. Mr Johnson
