Where did you grow up? I have lived in Newark my entire life. What was your favourite lesson at school? Woodwork was my favourite lesson at school, getting to design and make various items. What was your first job? A draughtsman at a local company. How did Newark Paint & Hardware come about? There was an opportunity within my career to open my own shop doing what I enjoy and providing a service to local people and supporting independent tradesmen. How much has your business changed since you first started it? The business has grown over the last 9 years with moving to a bigger more central location in the town centre where we have been able to expand our product lines and ccreate a shop that you can find everything under one roof.
