Messages & Greetings
A Message from our Chamber President & CEO’s
Dear Chamber Members & Business Leaders,
On behalf of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) and the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce (Hispano Chamber), thank you for joining us at the 2023 Energy Summit in Santa Fe, New Mexico from April 20-22, 2023.
Santa Fe’s rich history is instilled in its role as the nation’s oldest capital city and also in New Mexico. It’s also the city where the USHCC was incorporated in 1979, and today, it is a prime location for the Energy Summit. New Mexico is the first minority/majority state with the highest percentage Latino population in America and is also abundant in natural resources. Known as the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico is the nation’s second largest oil producer, ninthlargest natural gas producer, and a leader in renewable energy.
The 2023 Energy Summit aims to convene energy industry leaders, suppliers, and policy advocates to address the critical issues affecting the nation’s dynamic energy sector during these unique and challenging times. Such issues include the demands of diverse human capital assets coupled with the security of supply and sustainability of our precious natural resource assets. Together, we will discuss solutions, policy, and cutting-edge technology as America’s energy industry transitions for future generations.
We look forward to you joining us as we explore bold solutions that will shape our nation’s outlook on energy.
Sincerely,
Ramiro A. Cavazos President & CEO United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
Ernie C’de Baca President & CEO Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce
