Task: Assign Ranks • Conditions: Using the USJTF Website as a Major or above in the United States Chapters or a Chapter Commander of an International Chapter learn how to assign ranks to your members to give them security access to the USJTF Homepage. -Importance of lesson: Members who are not ranked can not see or take training on the USJTF Website. -Ranks are assigned to show the members real rank and the responsibility to assign and maintain current ranks on the USJTF Homepage is on you. “Tip of the spear”
Step One: Know how ranks are set up in the USJTF • In order to properly assign ranks you must first know how the USJTF Rank Structure is established and set in place go to the command tab here and review the USJTF Forces Combat Formation Manuals. Step Two: Assign Ranks • Ranks are assigned by the real USJTF Members rank • Only USJTF Ranks are authorized in the System • USJTF Members must meet requirements in time in service for all USJTF Ranks (A minimum of Six months time served per rank) • USJTF Company Teams can promote 1 Sergeant (For every 5 Operators), 1 Second Lieutenant (For every 3 Sergeants), and meet the minimum requirements by promoting 1 First Sergeant, one First Lieutenant, and one Captain. • Ranks for Captain and above must be approved by the USJTF Command, Sergeant Majors must be approved by the USJTF Command Sergeant Major. • Any abuse of this system will remove your privileges of assigning rank on the USJTF Website • The following slides will show you how to assign ranks to your members “Tip of the spear”

How to abbreviate ranks Every rank is displayed before the User Name as Such EXAMPLE: Member signs up as “Newguy” in his username. To meet the standard (OPR) or the USJTF Rank of Operator is placed before his username he signed up with. Hence the new username would be: (OPR) Newguy
