B L O O M S & C O / Brynn is inspired by moody blooms s o it s ui ted he r w e l l to move int o some darker s hades for her winter in spired bo uq u e t. T he dark ranunculus and astrantia were t he p er f ect dee p mo o dy f lo w ers t o begin the bouquet with, balanced by on e o f Br ynn’s f avo r ite ros es , the Quicksand. To marry t he deep colo red f lo w e r s a nd so f t toned Quicks and toget her s he added Sarracen i a blo o ms, w hic h have amazing tex ture + a unique style. Finishin g the bo uq u e t w ith a m ore garden like vibe s he included Umbrel la far n + Sea S ta r, the ir bright green color is a refres hing change from the du sty to ne s tha t h ave previous ly been t rendy.

F ro m B L O O M S & B R A N C H E S / When I was invit ed to d esi gn this bo u q u e t, I did what I always do and t hought in t erms o f the c lie nt I a m des igning for. M y client s are always t he ins pirati o n be hind my w ork. Since this bouquet was s pecifical ly des ig n ed f o r this editorial, I became t he client . I asked myself, “if I w ere to rece ive thi s bouquet on my wedding day, what would I wan t?” Tha t wa s my question and t he finished des ign became my an sw e r. I lo ve the t ouchable t ex tures and t he rich colors. I l i ke to co mbine the unex pect ed in my designs. The deep colored b er r ie s, a r tic ho ke and s moke bush add color, int erest and t ex ture to this bo uq uet . The orchids are unex pected, but t hey bel o n g, a dding a to uch of the elegant. A lt hough I love the beaut y o f sil k r ibbo n, I had my heart s et on s omet hing different . I wan ted a ma c ra me bouquet wrap for this one.
