Honors College Medallion:

Graduation with the Honors College Medallion To receive the Honors College diploma and medallion upon graduation, the following criteria must be met: (a) Cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 (b) Completion of a total of 33 semester hours of Honors courses (c) Fulfillment of all departmental honors, requirements, including an honors thesis or project (4-5 credits) and seminar (1-3) credits Graduation with Departmental Honors Students have the option of earning Departmental Honors by taking the Honors Thesis and Seminar in the department of their chosen research mentor (8 semester hours).

The outstanding record of the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPPS) is in large part a measure of the accomplishments of its graduates.

The Honors College provides CPPS students with various opportunities to enrich their educational experience with small classes, to benefit from individual advising, to register early for optimal schedule selection, and to participate in individual research projects. Students accepted into the CPPS Honors Program are members of both the CPPS and the Honors College. The two colleges collaborate to enrich instruction throughout the CPPS programs.
