DOCTOR OF PHARMACY (PHARMD)
at The University of Toledo The six-year, entry-level Doctor of Pharmacy program prepares and qualifies graduates for licensure to practice pharmacy. The PharmD program includes professional practice development coursework and specialized experiential rotations to prepare students for practice. Opportunities to work directly with faculty on research projects are also available. The nationally ranked College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences occupies two state-of-the-art facilities with the latest instructional laboratories, classrooms, and research laboratories featuring advanced equipment and computer technologies. Wolfe Hall on the Main Campus is one of the most advanced science facilities in the nation, and the college’s new $25 million facility on the University’s Health Science Campus, the Frederic and Mary Wolfe Center, offers professional division students hands-on experience in an integrated medical community. The college’s distinction of being located on an academic health science campus makes it unique among other pharmacy colleges in the region and bolsters research and practice opportunities for students.
