I have a background in retail, computer/device repair, and criminal justice, and I chose UWM because I decided to change career paths and pursue my bachelor’s degree. I was drawn to the IST program because I was always very good with computers from a young age. As far as career goals, I want to get a job in the cybersecurity field. This scholarship will help me continue my journey.

After college, I plan on working as a project manager, all thanks to my four-week internship with NonprofIT, which exposed me to the duties and responsibilities of a project manager.
