6,597 families were helped in 2010 to find and maintain financial stability. UWCF helps families to improve job skills, manage debt, build savings and improve earning power through certification and higher education.

UWCF provides medical and mental health services for 7,622 children and adults whether or not they have insurance.

Providing support to stabilize a family crisis is important to the well-being of a compassionate community.

How  are  we  doing  this?   We  provide  opportunities  to  increase  the  percentage  of  children  that  enter  school   with  the  language  skills  they  need  to  read.  They  also   work  to  improve  FCAT  scores,  attendance  and  promotion  to  the  next  grade  for  students  grades  K  â€“  12.

How  are  we  doing  this?  We  work  to  educate  and  improve  health  through  preventative  services  while  helping  people  improve  health  indicators  such  as  blood  pressure,  weight  and  blood  sugar  levels.   Programs  also  help  people  with  addiction  regain  control  of  their  lives.

What  does  it  mean  to  you?  Kids  who  enter  school   ready  to  succeed  are  more  likely  to  graduate  and   become  a  stable,  educated,  reliable  workforce.

What  does  it  mean  to  you?  A  healthy  workforce  is   on  the  job.  And  our  services  for  people  of  all  ages,  including  children  and  the  disabled,  are  especially   helpful  to  your  employees  who  are  parents  or   caregivers  to  family  members  in  need.
