"If I can recommend anything, do what feels comfortable for you. If I want to wear white but then I remember there's some 'you can't wear white after Labor Day or whatever' I simply pause, put on my white jeans and move on. It reminds me of the Marianne Williamson quote, the stronger I am in doing what I love, it's like it "unconsciously" gives others permission to do the same, "As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." I dig that.
