2023 STAKEHOLDERS REPORT

DEAR VALUED SUPPORTERS OF THE VAIL DANCE FESTIVAL,

Thanks to you, and your incredible support, our 2023 Vail Dance Festival was an inspiring collection of the world’s greatest dancers, musicians, and dance companies. It is my pleasure to welcome you, on behalf of the Vail Valley Foundation Board of Directors and staff, to our 2023 Vail Dance Festival Stakeholders Report. By virtually all metrics, this past summer was the most successful Festival in the 35-year history of the event. The quality of the performances was excellent, as reflected in the record ticket revenue. In fact, the Festival recorded its highest revenues ever, and generated $3.7 million in economic impact for the Town of Vail.

We want to share our gratitude to you, our partners, donors, and sponsors, for your support of this world-class Festival. The Vail Dance Festival has become the summertime epicenter of the dance world, and among the finest performing arts events in the nation, and we are grateful to have your teamwork in its successful creation each summer.

We are already looking ahead to a wonderful 36th year in 2024 and hope you will continue to be a part of this amazing dance experience.

With gratitude,
