Dr. Suzanne R. Salapa Dr. Salapa began her training with the Annandale Dance Theater and continued her training with the Maryland Youth Ballet and Columbia City Ballet. She received her bachelors degree in dance from Shenandoah University and completed her MFA degree in dance from Florida State University. While attending Florida State, she was awarded the Florida State Friends of Dance Scholarship and a teaching assistantship. In addition, she has served on the faculty of George Mason University and Shenandoah University. She is a member of the dance faculty at Valencia Community College and Rollins College and received her doctorate degree in education at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Salapa was recently awarded the 2006 Dance Teacher Magazine Higher Education Teacher of the Year.
