Twice as many high school graduates in Orange and Osceola counties start college at Valencia than at all Florida state universities combined. (34.2% enrolled at Valencia in 2008 and approximately 16.4% enrolled at a Florida state university.) Enrollment has grown on all campuses, but has grown the fastest at Osceola where it has nearly doubled over the last four years. Valencia’s retention rate over four years continues to exceed the state average. In 2009-2010, our fall to spring retention rate reached 86.2%.
