Autumn Welcome to Restaurant Martinus, one of the three culinary concepts In Van der Valk Hotel Eindhoven. All the dishes that we serve to you are prepared by our head chef, Pepijn de Wit, and his team with fresh, traditional and sustainable local products. In autumn, there is more than enough choice: salted meat of deer, wild mushrooms soup and a delicious beet risotto. The North Sea Sole is also back on our menu, this classic Van der Valk dish is caught a lot again in this season. We work with fresh seasonal products and choose this North Sea sole for its sustainable catch. A delicious meal in the fall!

At this time of the year, you will find there some delicious venison dishes, sush as the dutch saddle of hare that goes excellent with a glass of Dolcetto from Piëmonte Italy, a fruity red wine. All our wines can be ordered by glass and we offer an extensive range of beautiful quality wines, all carefully matched to the dishes by our Chef. Finally, now that the days are getting colder, I recommend you to try one of our special desserts. For example, The Schwarzwälder Kirsch 2016, with cherries, kirsch, bitter chocolate, ice cream and cake is truly delightful! But above all, enjoy your meal! ‘Beter leven’ (Better life) quality mark Restaurant Martinus works with veal and pork meat that meets the ‘1 star beter leven quality mark’ of the Dutch animal protection society (Dierenbescherming.nl). Restaurant Martinus is also a partner of van ‘Vis & Seizoen’ (Fish and Season) working together for sustainable fishing.
