In 2021-22, the VCS community powerfully demonstrated the VCS theme “LET’S LOVE” through your support. This community rallied around our students to ensure that every child at VCS could continue their Quest for Excellence. Volunteers slowly returned to campus, bringing their vital energy and joy. We gathered for in-person events, from Homecoming to the Quest Ball and Golf Tournament. Together, we gave over 2.6 million dollars to support VCS students last year. This generosity meant that we could do more for every child: more classroom improvements, more students attending VCS through tuition assistance, more facility improvements for our program areas, more faculty receiving housing assistance, and more social and emotional support for kids who have been through so much these last years. Every dollar made a difference! Together, we can and will do more. Last school year, more individuals than ever gave financially to VCS, which is truly something to celebrate. While VCS has an incredible 60-year history and tremendous growth in recent decades, we are still young philanthropically. We hope to establish endowments and legacy giving that many other schools already have that will strengthen our ability to support staff and students. We have the financial strength and a growing community of support that cares deeply about our students,
