SATURDAY, FEB. 19 SC Birding in Spur Cross 8–10:30 a.m. Search for this month’s featured animal, the black-throated sparrow, and other full-time resident bird species along the Dragonfly trail with the ranger.
SATURDAY, FEB. 26 SC Life Along the Creek 9–11:30 a.m.
Hike along the Dragonfly trail to view the plants and animals that live alongside the creek. CC Butterflies of Cave Creek 1–3 p.m. Take an easy walk through the park with a ranger to learn about the different species of butterflies in the area and how to attract them to your home.
SUNDAY, FEB. 27 SC Rock Art of Spur Cross 9–11 a.m. Walk in the footsteps of the Hohokam people to a petroglyph site.
SUNDAY, FEB. 27 SC Full Moon Hike
through Spur Cross 7–9 p.m. Hike through the desert as it is illuminated by the moon.
