The Pottery Cottage has settled in nicely at its new and bigger location on downtown Claremore’s main strip at 323 W. Will Rogers Blvd., which is a wonderful development for owner Leslie Cohen because historic downtown Claremore has always been one of her favorite places. That’s why she is happy to announce the Pottery Cottage’s participation in Downtown First Night. Being held May 5 and continuing the first Saturday of each month through July, this event will feature different games at each participating shop, with prizes awarded to participants. Downtown First Night kicks
off what Leslie promises to be a “very merry month of May” for Pottery Cottage. Mother’s Day is May 13, and Polish pottery makes a great gift for any mother on your list. “Whether they like to cook and bake or just appreciate good quality,” says Leslie, “mothers love this pottery.” In honor of Mother’s Day, Leslie is offering free shipping for those whose mothers live out of state. On May 19, The Pottery Cottage will have a table at A Vintage Affaire at the Belvidere Mansion, where you could find the perfect item for an upcoming summer wedding or for that graduate on your list. As a
