Martial Arts Builds Confidence Behavioral scientists agree that self-confidence is one of the main drivers for success in all areas of life, and Martial Arts Academy focuses on building this trait in children and adults. By Deanna Rebro
It’s tough. It’s highly regimented, with no tolerance for nonsense. It requires absolute focus and perseverance. So why do so many kids do martial arts? Because it is one of the best venues to develop self-confidence and lifelong leadership skills. Chris Velez, Martial Arts Academy chief instructor and owner, knows from his own experience what martial arts can do for a child. Having started at the tender age of six, Chris now owns two studios and has earned his fifth degree black belt. Watching kids develop through the program

Donating Dental Services Eastern Oklahoma Donated Dental Services provided $4.4 million in no-fee dental treatment last year to disabled and elderly low-income clients. By Duane Blankenship
In 2003, after severing relations with D-Dent, an existing donated dental service organization based in Oklahoma City, two women representing the Tulsa branch came to the executive board of the Tulsa County Dental Society (TCDS) with a plea to maintain a Tulsa office and provide local residents with donated dental services. ASK THE MONEY MAVEN STRAIGHT-FORWARD, NO-NONSENSE TALK ABOUT YOUR MONEY
Before You Start Pushing Up Daisies…. Are Your Ducks in a Row? BY MELANIE HASTY-GRANT
Now, unless you plan to spend all your kids’ inheritance or you purposefully want to leave them a big mess, you need to do some proper estate planning. I can’t begin to tell you how many smart people make really dumb mistakes when it comes to trying to protect their money during their senior years and transfer it to their kids upon their death. Sometimes it is out of ignorance, and sometimes it is just trying to be pennywise and ending up pound foolish. The following are the top 7 mistakes I have seen people make: • I got my Will off the Internet. • My friend told me I should put my child on all my accounts to make sure my bills get paid if I become ill. • I have a Will, so my estate won’t go through probate. • I have a child who can’t handle money, so I am giving everything to my brother and he will take care of my child. • My situation is very simple…I don’t need estate planning. • If I leave everything to my spouse, there is no tax. • We don’t need any long term care insurance; our kids will take care of us. I have seen some pretty flubbed up estate planning. I would certainly give a second thought to doing your Will on the Internet. This is an important document and you want to pay the money to make sure it is done correctly. Unless you have a Trust, your
estate will go through probate. Please hear me…a Will does NOT exempt your estate from probate. While putting your child on your bank accounts will allow them to have access to your account to pay your bills if you become unable to do so, it can potentially be a poor choice. If your son or daughter gets in an accident and is sued and their name is on your account, it could be a bad choice. If your son or daughter gets a divorce and their name is on your account, it could be a bad choice. If your goal is for them to have access to your account to pay your bills if you become ill, you can accomplish this with a simple Power of Attorney. If your goal is for them to get the account when you die without going through probate, you can accomplish this by either setting the account up as a TOD (Transfer on Death) and it will cost you nothing, or through establishing a Trust. If one of your children can’t handle money, get a Trust. Don’t assume that your brother Billy (or his

wife) will handle everything exactly as you would like. Money has a strange way of convincing folks to do otherwise. If you leave everything to your spouse, they will still have to pay taxes on your IRA assets. However, if you choose them as the beneficiary on your IRAs, they will be able to take the money out over time rather than all at once, which will save them in taxes. You don’t want your children changing your diapers. Your spouse may not be able to take care of you. Get long term care insurance so that it doesn’t leave your spouse in poverty. Regardless of the amount of money or stuff you have, it is worth getting it to the people you would want to have it when you die. I’m sure you don’t have Uncle Sam at the top of your beneficiary list. For more information go to www.waterstonewealth.com or call 918272-1120. Beautiful Lighted Holiday Displays for 2014 Two free drive-through events are happening in Muskogee – Castle Christmas at The Castle of Muskogee and The Garden of Lights at Honor Heights Park, open Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Eve.
By Sheryl Sowell Celebrate the best of family holiday traditions at The Castle of Muskogee. Take a leisurely drive through Castleton Village, filled with over 2,000 holiday lighted displays. The drivethrough is free, and donations are gratefully accepted. Outside The Castle, you can take a hayride or a carriage ride through the Village, or ride the ponies or the camel. The Castle’s additional events are open November 27-30, December 4-7 and every night December 11-31. In nearby Honor Heights Park, the Garden of Lights attracts thousands of visitors. 88th Annual Live Nativity King of Kings Lutheran Church presents its annual Christmas celebration December 13 and 14.
By Sheryl Sowell As we prepare to spend the next month decorating our homes and Christmas trees and purchasing gifts for loved ones, King of Kings Lutheran Church in Glenpool calls us all to remember the true purpose of the Christmas season. In an effort to carry out the mission to celebrate the birth of Christ, King of Kings will be presenting a live nativity scene on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14 at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. each night, in the field just southeast of 151st Street and Highway 75. Complete with costumed actors, sheep, camels, a donkey and a stable, the live nativity depicts the story of Christ’s birth from the angel Gabriel’s announcement to Mary, through the arrival of the three wise men. Pastor Rick Tabisz will narrate the Christmas story while the actors illustrate the journey, conflicts and celebration that the family experiences. At the end of the presentation, audience members are invited to sing “Silent Night” and warm up with hot cocoa and cookies while petting the animals and visiting with the cast. “The live nativity is a simple reenactment of the birth of Christ that everyone in the family will enjoy. Several families have told me they make this a
part of their Christmas traditions every year,” said Pat Bartley, co-chair of the public relations committee. “When we all sing together at the end of the performance, it creates a truly beautiful, peaceful feeling within.” The presentation itself will last for approximately 30 minutes, and it is performed regardless of
the plunging temperatures. Seating is provided, but Bartley urges spectators, “Please dress appropriately and bring blankets. The metal bleachers are very cold.” The live nativity takes place on 13 acres located on the southeast side of Highway 75 and 151st Street in Glenpool. Please arrive early to find seating. Porta-Potties
will also be available. This is the eighth year that King of Kings Lutheran Church has presented the live nativity. “We are a missionary church,” Bartley says. “This is our small way of sharing Christ’s love with the community. Our goal is to capture the feel of our Savior’s birth. It isn’t about commercializa-
tion; it is about the simplicity and the joy of the occasion.” This project is free to the community, and funding comes from both the congregation and Thrivent Financial, an organization that does much more than offer financial services. They also offer outreach opportunities that enable members to help their communities and congregations. “The entire presentation is a testament to the season. The volunteerism that it requires is truly indicative of the Christmas spirit,” says Bartley. “We look forward to you joining with us in thanksgiving as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ: Son of God, King of Kings, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, and yes, the real ‘reason for this season’ of Christmas.”

BBAPAC Captures Spirit of the Season celebration on Saturday, December 13, Broken Arrow’s favorite holiday tradition, “A Time for Christmas 3,” returns to help spread Yuletide cheer and get patrons into the holiday spirit. Celebrate the holidays at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center with three upcoming shows.
By Christina Dixon It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center is spreading holiday cheer by offering three unique shows in December, including an evening with country crooner Lee Ann Womack on December 5, a Broken Arrow favorite, “A Time for Christmas 3,” starring BAPAC Executive Director Mark Frie and friends on December 13, and contemporary artist Debby Boone on December 19. “The holiday spirit is alive and well every year at the BAPAC,” said Mark Frie, executive director. “Whether we are bringing in award-winning stars from abroad or celebrating our hometown with local performers, the magic of the season is captured on our stage with shows guaranteed to get the whole family in the holiday mood.” On Friday, December 5, the BAPAC welcomes multi-award winning country artist Lee Ann Womack to the Rose District for a holiday concert for the ages. After spending many years as a professional songwriter, Lee Ann Womack became one of the most popular contemporary country artists of 1997 with her eponymous self-titled debut album.
From there, her success only grew with albums such as “I Hope You Dance” and “Something Worth Leaving Behind.” Presently, Womack has released six albums and has sold more than six
million worldwide. She has also been honored with five Academy of Country Music awards, five Country Music Association awards and a Grammy award. Continuing the seasonal
tunes of today. Joining him again is wife Kim Frie, Melenda Clonts, Adam J. Foreman and many special surprises. Less than a week later, the sounds of multiple-Grammy award winner Debby Boone take the BAPAC stage on Friday, December 19. In 1997, Debby Boone earned instant fame when “You Light Up My Life” became one of the biggest songs in history, charting No. 1 on Billboard for 10 straight weeks and selling more than four million albums. That year, she received the Grammy for Best New Artist. In 2008, the song was ranked No. 7 on Billboard’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Top-Charting Songs. Tickets for all three shows are now available by phone or by visiting the box office Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patrons can also visit the BAPAC Facebook page at facebook.com/ brokenarrowpac for show updates and more. surviving spouse moves to another state or the trust organization reorganizes or merges)? Flexibility is a key consideration. To ensure privacy. Privacy is often overlooked as a priority for estate planning but it’s extremely important. Elderly individuals are often targets of fraudulent solicitations and schemes. If an estate plan can preserve a couple’s privacy, it may help protect the surviving spouse from being targeted. Assets are subject to probate, which are public records and can be viewed by anyone. Look into a Revocable Living Trust, which avoids probate and ensures privacy for the family. Estate planning is not just for the wealthy. If you own property of any type – homes, cars, bank accounts, investments, collectibles – you need an estate plan. Not sure how to begin? Talk to your accountant or local bank representative about trust considerations. Opinions expressed above are the personal opinions of RCB Bank Trust Client Development Officer Terry Parsons, and meant for generic illustration purposes only.

OOklahoma Author Releases New Book “Nana’s 3 Jars: Giving Generously” teaches children the value of money and the importance of giving to others. By Sheryl Sowell
Oklahoma syndicated columnist, author and inspirational speaker Carol Round has released her first children’s book, “Nana’s 3 Jars: Giving Generously,” just in time for Christmas giving. The book is the first in a series of three to teach children about giving, saving and spending.
In a media-saturated world focused on having more, it’s sometimes difficult for adults to teach children about the value of money, especially at Christmas time. Commercials for new toys, video games and other merchandise can distract us from the real meaning of Christmas. Without preaching, Christian author, syndicated columnist and inspirational speaker Carol Round has released the first in a series of three books to teach children about giving, saving and spending. “I wanted to use storytelling to engage children with parents and grandparents to understand the real value of money and its importance,” says Carol. “I chose ‘Nana’s 3 Jars’ to create a dialogue between children and adults. The first book in the series, ‘Giving Generously,’ focuses on giving. “Charlie and Emma, the young characters in the story, are excited because they’re headed to Nana’s home in the country for the day,” says Ms. Round. “Nana, who is known for her prizewinning recipes at the county fair each year, offers cookies and milk for a treat when they first arrive. As the youngsters eat their cookies, they notice three jars filled
with coins on Nana’s countertop. Each jar has a different label – giving, saving and spending. When the sister and brother question Nana about the purpose of the jars, she explains each. “In the first book,” Ms. Round adds, “the children learn about the joy of giving when they make chocolate chip cookies to hand out at a local veterans’ center. I’ve done this with my three grandchildren and they always love it – not only helping to make the cookies, but handing them out as well. We’ve also done this at local nursing homes, and I think my grandchildren are as excited and blessed as the veterans and residents of the facilities we visit.” The book series was born out of her love of helping others and of teaching her grandchildren about giving, saving and spending. “I can recall my experiences as a child,” she adds, “when my sister and I would help our grandmother make jams and jellies. When finished, we could select our favorite and also give them away as gifts. I can also recall poking holes in the lids of empty jars and capturing fireflies. My sister and I would set them on the window sill at night to watch them glow.
By mentioning this in the book, it brings back memories for adults who did this same thing. You don’t see as many fireflies today as you did when I grew up.” “Giving Generously” is interactive and includes an original chocolate chip recipe in the back of the book as well as three labels – giving, saving and spending – so children can make cookies to hand out and start putting coins in their own jars. To purchase a copy of “Nana’s 3 Jars: Giving Generously,” contact the author at carolaround@yahoo.com. The book is also available on Amazon.com. Ms. Round resides in Claremore and is also available to speak in elementary classrooms and to other children’s groups.

Martial Arts Builds Confidence is one of the greatest joys of the work he has done for 11 years. “Whether or not they come in initially to gain selfconfidence, they gain it,” he says. Through the discipline and structure of martial arts training, students are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and try something new. There is fear, anxiety, butterflies in the stomach. They usually don’t succeed the first time, but in a nonintimidating and supportive environment, they are encouraged to try again and again until they succeed. “It’s a process of learning and trying
until they reach success,” he explains. They learn how to accept challenges and how to focus and perform under pressure. Every time a youngster pushes himself or herself to reach a goal and accomplish it, a little more confidence is built. Behavioral scientists agree that self-confidence is one of the main drivers for success in life. It’s a gradual process, but one that has a direct impact on personal development and lifelong benefits. Most often the candidates with self-confidence and soft skills tip the scales for job promotions or leadership roles in the community.

Chris and the other instructors hold all of the class members to a high standard that may not be required anywhere else in their lives. A code of conduct is strictly upheld. Class members bow to show respect for authority figures. They address one another as Mr. or Miss. And they show appreciation for the achievements of other members. The goal is to teach each student to become the type of person who is always prepared to do their absolute best in whatever they set out to accomplish and become a positive example for others to follow. It is not an easy journey,
Donating Dental Services mittee was established to research the feasibility of establishing a new organization in Tulsa and to determine the demand to provide local residents with donated dental services. Michael A. Kincaid, DDS, was vice president of the TCDS and acknowledged that Tulsa should have an organization to administer care for residents 65 years of age and older who were physically or mentally disabled and financially challenged. After determining the overwhelming need for an active Tulsa-based donated dental services organization, Eastern Oklahoma Donated Dental Services, Inc. (EODDS) was established. The non-profit was formed to serve the eastern half of Oklahoma and was granted 501(c)(3) status by the end of 2003. EODDS Executive Director Michael Smith, PhD, says, “Running full speed ahead, the newly formed organization enlisted approximately 140 Tulsa area dentists volunteering to work in conjunction with EODDS to provide no-fee services for Oklahomans, primarily in Tulsa and surrounding areas. Additionally, two representatives of International Dental Arts Laboratory agreed to serve on the EODDS Board of Directors and provide necessary laboratory procedures for EODDS patients at a reduced cost.” Since inception, in accordance with non-profit status regulations, all monies received from funding sources have been used to pay laboratory fees, administrative compensations, and EODDS business sanctioned events. In 2013, just 10 years after inception, EODDS averaged over $4,400,000 in care provided by 320 dentists. This figure represents more donated care than California, Texas, New York, Pennsylvania and Florida combined for the same period. EODDS is the largest non-profit donated dental service in the world and has grown to that distinction in
less than a decade. This truly “feel good” story has impacted the lives of over 10,000 patients by providing 20 million dollars worth of dental services in its first 10 years. Today, the purpose of EODDS is to connect volunteer dentists with patients in the 918 and 539 area code regions in need of dental care (especially dentures) that they cannot afford. Clients must be physically or mentally disabled, low-income, and drawing their Social Security Disability (SSD) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Clients may not have any savings accounts, CDs, trust accounts, IRAs or any other means of paying for dental care. Elderly clients must be 65 years of age or older and low-income. Clients may not have any savings accounts, CDs, trust accounts, IRAs or any other means of paying for dental care, and all clients must meet the current year Annual Federal Poverty Guideline. Executive Director Smith expressed his gratitude to the more than 19 foundations, trusts and organizations that are EODDS funders and have been faithful to the cause since its beginnings in 2003. “Without their support and the benevolent dentists participating in the program, EODDS would not exist. We thank them all.” You may contact the EODDS office for an application or download one from the website and mail it in if you believe you or someone you know may qualify for services.
but children as young as seven or eight have come up through the ranks and earned their black belts. “When kids have a positive self-image,” he explains, “they develop a success-oriented mindset and see themselves as being successful, no matter what they are doing.” Parents often tell him how the once-shy kid who was afraid to speak in class has improved grades and gone on to make big commitments. He also hears comments about positive behavioral changes toward family members, how they handle peer pressure a lot better, and
how they effectively deal with negative opinions from other people. Martial Arts Academy offers classes Monday through Saturday (Fridays by appointment). All family members are welcome. For more information, contact

The ladies at The Nut House on Route 66 are ready for Christmas. The Nut House is known for its vast assortment of wonderful gifts and decorating ideas. (L to R): Tina Looney, Sally McSlarrow, Leslie Ward and Jennifer Downing.
“For Christmas, we’re also adding cranberry fudge, egg nog fudge and chocolate orange swirl,” says Hazel. “We’ll also ship boxes of fudge anywhere you want us to.” All Christmas items, including whole and cracked pecans, can also be mailed anywhere. “We try to get the best shipping rate possible for our customers,” she adds. “We also have lots of beautiful ornaments for all tastes,” Hazel says. “Some like to shop and purchase a new ornament each Christmas. I would always buy a new one for my children each year.” Tree decorations available fit just about everyone’s taste, including the glitzy, the collegiate, old-fashioned and rustic, woodsy ornaments. Check out the trees on display in the store for ideas. Christmas décor runs the gamut from large snowmen, including those for OSU and OU fans, to more traditional decorations like reindeer. In fact, the store’s variety of quality gifts and décor will delight you, from the unique to the quirky, including Santa Claus cookie jars, holiday wine glasses and cozies, coffee mugs, serving dishes and candy dishes, all perfect for giving or for your own use.
Don’t have time to make a pecan or pumpkin pie for your holiday table? Call The Nut House and order yours by December 18. Need cookies? The Nut House offers snickerdoodle, chocolate chip and peanut butter. Need party trays, including meat, cheese and veggies? The Nut House can provide those too. “Whatever someone needs for their holiday parties, we can supply,” she adds. “If businesses have a corporate need for gifts, we can also fix up trays or metal tins of nuts and candy.” According to Hazel, shopping at The Nut House is a relaxing experience. “Customers should feel comfortable while shopping and not be pressured and faced with huge crowds and harried clerks.”

PPortraits of a Garden Tulsa Garden Center presents its annual Amateur Photography Contest and Exhibition.
By Mike Blake
To Tulsa area amateur photographers of all ages: Tulsa Garden Center offers you the opportunity to exhibit your photographic art during the Portraits of a Garden Amateur Photography Contest and Exhibition held at Tulsa Garden Center. Exhibition days will be January 23–25 and January 27–31, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.). Photographers’ entries may be submitted at Tulsa Garden Center, 2435 S. Peoria Ave. on Tuesday through Saturday, January 6–10 and January 13–17, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. How often have you seen something in nature and thought, “That would make a great picture”? Take that great picture and share it at the Portraits of a Garden 2015 contest. Join like-minded and talented amateur nature photographers in sharing pictures of some of the great gardens and nature for which North-
eastern Oklahoma is famous. Entry categories are: Creatures in a Garden; Digitally Manipulated Garden Photos; Gardens in Woodward Park; General Garden Photos; Linnaeus Teaching Garden; Seasons in the Garden; Single Flower in a Garden; and Water Features. There are three divisions in which photographers are classified: Beginners, Intermediate and Masters. Children and Youth may enter either the Beginners or the Intermediate Divisions, unless they’ve qualified for the Masters Division. Masters can only compete in the Masters Division. Masters are defined as individuals who have previously won three or more first place awards in a Tulsa Garden Center Portraits of a Garden Photography contest. The contest is open to amateur photographers only. No professional photographers may enter the contest. Professionals
December 2014 are defined as photographers who have a business license and market their work and/or solicit business. Photographers who only sell an occasional image or print are not considered professionals. All entries must present a garden theme. Prints may be color or black and white. All prints must be matted with black or white two or three inch mattes – no frames. Print size: Minimum size 5” x 7” matted with an 8” X 10” matte or 8” x 10” matted with an 11” x 14” matte. There is a maximum of three submissions per division per entrant. Cost is $5 per entry or three for $10. Entrant grants Tulsa Garden Center permission to use image(s) for publicity and fundraising purposes. Entrants should indicate top of photograph for display purposes. All entries should have a signed application form (at Tulsa Garden Center or online at www.tulsagardencenter.com) attached to each entry. Entries must be claimed February 3–7 or February 10–14 during regular business hours. (Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). All entries not claimed by February 20 become the property of Tulsa Garden Center. Cash awards will go to 1st place winners in Beginners and Intermediate divisions and the

Merry M
Twisted Christmas
Twisted Soul Sisters’ new location offers twice the space for trendy clothing, jewelry, boots and gift selections. By Deanna Rebro Make it a Merry Twisted Christmas with a holiday outfit that wows the room or a special gift that wows some lucky person. Now settled in its new location at 13160 S. Memorial Dr., Twisted Soul Sisters offers twice the selections in clothing, jewelry, boots and gifts. In keeping with their philosophy of “making old things new again,” co-owners and best friends Kelly Corey and Marti Coleman create custom jewelry pieces from items that customers bring in, or choose from the thousands of vintage beads in all colors, shapes and sizes, as well as buttons, charms, pendants and brooches. Kelly and Marti can take those items and rework them into stunning one-ofa-kind necklaces, bracelets, earrings or belt buckles. The possibilities for new jewelry designs are endless. A lot of customers go through grandma’s jewelry box
and find her favorite clip-on earrings, large brooch or other pieces they would never wear. But once reworked, they remain sentimental but are exclusively updated and enjoyed again. Other jewelry offerings include collegiate custom charms, high school spirit necklaces and personalized stamping on a variety of disks. Twisted Soul Sisters features more than 30 lines of specialty clothing in a cozy and friendly boutique atmosphere, with a mix of new and vintage throughout the store. With only one run per style, you won’t see these clothes in the malls and on everyone else. The clothes are always trendy, and it is not unusual to find three generations of ladies shopping together. Teens, moms and grandmas find just the right look and fit for them, no matter what size. Three new plus-size lines offer
Co-owner Kelly Corey is excited about the holiday offerings available at Twisted Soul Sisters. clothing to size 22 and tops to 4X. This season, Twisted Soul Sisters has added seven new jeans styles in their core denim line, Dear John. “This is denim that really keeps its shape,” says Kelly, “and we have dressy holiday styles at reasonable price points.” Ladies who say they have never been able to find a pair of jeans that fit are amazed to discover the perfect pair of jeans. And they don’t have to spend a lot of money. A pair of head-turning boots complements any jeans or many other outfits. Twisted Soul Sisters carries a large selection of Old Gringo, Corral and Liberty Black boots. Not sure about size or
color? Pick up a gift certificate. The Mud Pies home and gift line includes many great ideas for hostess gifts or stocking stuffers. Prices start at just $8. Highly fragranced candles and diffusers are another idea, as well as products for soothing and pampering. Enjoy the shopping and take home your purchases, beautifully wrapped for free. Ladies stop by to see what Twisted Soul Sisters is all about and they return again and again. The fashionable clothes, unique jewelry and totally refreshing shopping experience set Twisted Soul Sisters far apart from any other store. The friendly and
knowledgeable team members are always available to help put together that “Wow! Where did you get that?” outfit. Twisted Soul Sisters is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, contact

Love...Take Risks... SShare and Enjoy the Journey. The store motto of Bling Boutique, located at 109th and Memorial in Tulsa, perfectly sums up the staff’s feelings about life and fashion. By Duane Blankenship The Bling Boutique is a treasure trove of fashion with an intimate shopping environment, offering personal service to help ensure that you look and feel great about yourself. Store owner Rhonda Cotroneo has always had a passion for fashion. She opened her Bling Boutique in 2012 with a goal to empower each patron. “We serve customers of all sizes and shapes, from teens to seniors, as we help them find their style and build their confidence,” said Rhonda. “We want everyone who comes through our door to feel special and encouraged. Enjoy every day that you have and live it to the fullest!” “I’ve had many women come into the shop,” said Store Manager Valorie Reynolds, “who have flat out said, ‘I can’t wear that! I’m too old or I’m too this or that.’ I tell them, ‘Yes you can! Don’t let your age, size, shape or society put you in a box!’” Rhonda says the Bling team can help camouflage any “problem area” you feel you have. “We’re specialists,” added Rhonda, “and we’re going to send you out of Bling with bags of great outfits and lots of confidence to boot!” The Bling team has successfully created a refuge, a comfort zone, where good vibes are apparent. They are a full-service clothing fashion and accessory shop featuring items from
everyday wear to business and evening attire. “We also carry a lot of denim, with a complete range to fit you and
your budget.” Bling Boutique also offers jackets, skirts, dresses, blouses, shirts and sweaters, camisoles and leg-
gings, plus jewelry, costume to designer including rings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants and more.
Some of the exclusive brand names that you will find at Bling include Rock Revival, Big Star, Leatherock, Andrew Hamilton Crawford and many others, plus other wellknown brands like Zenzii and Elan. Be sure to keep your eyes open for the new Bling website that is nearing completion. With the holidays upon us, Rhonda reminds customers about the “Wish List” program that has been so successful for the last two years. This allows customers to come in and make a wish list so their significant other or Santa can come in and purchase exactly what they want. They even have gift wrap available! Bling gift items include collegiate wear, Swan Creek Candles, Good Works Bracelets and so much more. To celebrate this holiday season, the ladies at Bling will be giving away a very special Andrew Hamilton Crawford bracelet ($160 value). You can visit the store for entry details. “Stock turns quickly,” said Rhonda. “If you see something you like today, you’d probably better make the purchase. It will likely be gone tomorrow.” Ladies, mark your calendars to join Rhonda and the Bling staff each Thursday evening in December for “Wine Night” where you can sip, swirl and shop until 7:30 p.m. “We want you to look great and feel great about yourself,” said Rhonda, “and Bling is dedicated to helping you do just that.”
