Prolific patriotic pastimes across northeast Oklahoma this July BY TOM FINK
F
rom Bartlesville to Bixby and Skiatook to Sperry, Oklahoma towns of all makes and sizes will be bringing Fourth of July celebrations to the Sooner State this summer. Deciding which event best suits you and your family’s or friend’s plans can be challenging, but Values Magazine has the latest Independence Day festivities collected in one place for your convenience.
Folds of Honor FreedomFest 2019:
Kicking off at 5 p.m. in two locations – River West Festival Park and Veterans Park - Folds of Honor FreedomFest 2019 offers something for all members of the family. At the River West Park location, activities include food trucks, live music, an aerial flyover by the 125th Fighter Wing Oklahoma Air National Guard – The Tulsa “Vipers”, with the evening culminating in a fireworks display over the Arkansas River, staged from the 21st Street Bridge, and followed by an encore from the Red Dirt Rangers. At Veterans Park, activities include free inflatables for the kids, a QT tent with a prize wheel, food trucks and beverage sales, live music, an aerial flyover, the National Anthem and presenting of the Colors, and the fireworks display over the Arkansas River. Patriots in the Park: To be held at Broken Arrow Events Park, the day begins at 10 a.m. and includes the “Handcuffs & Hoses” Backyard Amateur BBQ Contest, live entertainment, and ends in a fireworks grand finale that’s visible for miles around. Celebration at the Creek: Held at Parkview Sequoyah Creek, the whole family is invited to Parkview Sequoyah Creek’s Independence Day celebration Wednesday, July 3. Activities commence at
6 p.m., with food trucks, inflatables, games, live music and more, with the fireworks display to begin near dusk.
Owasso’s annual Red, White and Boom celebration returns to town with
the city’s annual fireworks show to be launched from Owasso Golf and Athletic Club south of 86th Street N. and 129th E. Avenue. Come out to Claremore Lake Park to enjoy the city’s annual Fourth of July Celebration. The day begins at 6 a.m. with the children’s fishing derby. The park closes at noon in preparation for the biggest fireworks display in Rogers County. The park re-opens at 6 p.m., with live entertainment, on-site concessions, a splash pad, and a dazzling fireworks display staged over Claremore Lake.
Bartlesville Freedom Fest:
Food, friends, family fun and of course, fireworks are the order of the day. Held July 4 in downtown Bartlesville, the fun starts at 7 p.m. and builds to a dazzling display of fireworks. Bixby Freedom Celebration: Bixby Freedom Celebration is held Friday, June 28 at Bentley Park Sports Complex. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a Kid’s Fun Zone, live music, food trucks, speakers and more, with the fireworks to begin at 9:45 p.m.
Jenks America Freedom Fest:
Beginning at 10 a.m. July 4 in downtown Jenks, food trucks, face painting and games will accompany local musicians on Main Street. Festivities continue until 4 p.m. Fish and Fireworks: After spending the afternoon at the Jenks America Freedom Fest, you don’t have to go far to enjoy the Fish and Fireworks at the
Oklahoma Aquarium. Opening at 6:30 p.m., the Oklahoma Aquarium’s riverfront backyard offers a front-row view to one of the most vibrant fireworks displays in the region. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended, but no outside food or coolers are permitted. Food and beverages will be available for purchase in the Coral Reef Café and outside on the back deck. Grand Lake Fireworks: The annual spectacular is grand indeed, held at dusk Friday, July 5, the Disney spillway, and accessible both by land and the lake itself. CrossTimbers Marina invites families out for a weekend of activities in Sperry. Held July 5 and 6, activities include a “Christmas in July Boat Parade and “Christmas in July: Fire in the Water” celebration, featuring live music all day and a fireworks show starting at 8:45 p.m. Fantasy in the Sky: Skiatook’s “Fantasy in the Sky” is held Wednesday, July 3, at Skiatook Municipal Airport. The celebration kicks off with a community wide parade and continues throughout the day with food, vendors, live music and more, concluding with a world-class fireworks show. Celebrate Independence Day at Keystone Lake with three separate fireworks displays this year. Scheduled shows will be Saturday, June 30, Friday, July 6, and Saturday, July 7.
Lake Tenkiller’s Fireworks Extravaganza returns on the Fourth
of July, with a dazzling fireworks display over beautiful Lake Tenkiller. The show will take place on the south end of the lake near dusk and shot from the Tenkiller State Park Sanitary Lagoon Area, just north of the campgrounds near the park’s entrance.

Veterans’ Ride Connect
Adds New Transit Provider, JAMM Transit; Expands Service Area BY LISA BOREN
V
eterans’ Ride Connect has added a new transit provider to its consortium, allowing the agency to expand its transportation services for veterans to include four new counties, bringing the total counties served in eastern Oklahoma to 29. The first of its kind in the state, Veterans’ Ride Connect is a groundbreaking cooperative agency of transit providers who work together to provide veterans with safe, reliable and local transportation services across eastern Oklahoma. Veterans’ Ride Connect utilizes a state-of-the-art Mobility Management Center located in rural Oklahoma. The consortium established a onecall/one-click system that links its transit providers, so veterans with transportation needs anywhere in the service area have only one phone number to call to schedule a ride. The Veterans’ Ride Connect consortium is comprised of the following public transits: Pelivan Transit, KI BOIS Area Transit (KATS), Cimarron Public Transit System, Muskogee County Transit Authority, Muscogee (Creek) Nation and, as of March 2019, Veterans’ Ride Connect welcomed JAMM Transit as the newest of its well-known and wellestablished transit providers. JAMM Transit, a public transportation program of INCA Community Services, provides rural public transportation services in Johnston, Atoka, Marshall and Murray counties. The addition of these four counties increases the Veterans’ Ride Connect service area to more than 29 counties across eastern Oklahoma. That’s 29 counties where more than 122,000 veterans reside who can benefit from the transportation services offered by Veterans’ Ride Connect. These 29 counties include Adair, Atoka,

Veterans’ Ride Connect also serves a portion of Seminole County. JAMM Transit has provided transportation resources to the Veterans Center in Sulphur for many years; however, the transit provider recognized that veterans in its service area were still in need of transportation to other veterans’ centers throughout the state. Joining Veterans’ Ride Connect allows JAMM Transit to help even more veterans meet their transportation needs and ensure they have the resources needed to maintain health and well-being. “Since Veterans’ Ride Connect is proving to be a viable resource for veterans with transportation needs in eastern Oklahoma,” said a JAMM Transit representative. “JAMM is excited for this opportunity to join its network.” In 2018, the consortium partners provided more than 16,000 trips for veterans. As it works to meet its goal to provide safe and reliable transportation to enhance the quality of life for veterans living in eastern Oklahoma, Veterans’ Ride Connect continues to collaborate and build partnerships with other transit services throughout the eastern half of the state. Veterans’ Ride Connect transportation services are provided to all veterans regardless of age or financial status. Any person who has served in a military force is considered to be a veteran. Veterans’ Ride Connect will coordinate with any medical facility, as well as Veterans Administration clinics and hospitals. The agency will also work

with Veterans Transportation Services (VTS) and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). There are fees for the transportation services, but an ongoing goal of the consortium is to bring veterans’ costs down through donations and grants. DUN-RITE DOES ROOFING RIGHT BY TOM FINK
S
ince 1992, Dun-Rite Roofing has served customers all across northeast Oklahoma with quality service, competitive pricing, and a strict adherence to the Golden Rule. Dun-Rite president and owner Jim Murr describes his business philosophy as being simple as it is sincere in that he treats his customers in the same way he would like to be treated. “One of the biggest pet peeves I have is a high-pressure salesman,” Murr said. “Your work is very important to us, but once you receive your free estimate/proposal, we will not make any follow-up phone calls unless you request them.” Additionally, Dun-Rite does not conduct door-to-door solicitations following area weather incidents.

Rather, Murr said that potential customers will reach out to DunRite when they need something, and he and his company vows only to give them what they need for their specific situation, rather than inflating services or material costs for a profit. According to Murr “serial findings of roof damage by out-of-state or flyby-night companies not only hurt the consumers but can even raise their insurance premiums after the filing of an unnecessary claim. It is this type of integrity that has earned Dun-Rite an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and it’s also the reason why so many realtors prefer to work with Dun-Rite rather than other roofing

companies. Dun-Rite provides an honest assessment of work that needs to be done, and at no charge. Dun-Rite does not require any upfront deposits to begin work on a roof, but rather, the invoices may be paid at the time of closing. Dun-Rite is also a go-to company with builders, so much so that one builder even relocated to southwestern Oklahoma, and, after trying out other roofers in the area, realized that if he wanted jobs done right, he needed to continue working with Dun-Rite. Repeat customers greatly make up much of Dun-Rite’s regular business, with first-timers returning for future projects, as well as referring Dun-Rite to their

family, friends and associates through word-of-mouth. In recent years, Dun-Rite Roofing moved operations to a beautiful, expanded showroom located just off highway 20 in Owasso. They offer a large variety of designer shingles from several major brands as well as different colors and styles from which to choose. Customers are welcome to drop by and view the selections and may check out a sample book for themselves, or ask Dun-Rite to deliver sample books to a customer’s site of choice. Free estimates for any job may be scheduled in person at the showroom, by calling the office, or online at www.dunriteroofing.com. The homeowner does need not be present at the time of the inspection. Instead, Dun-Rite will prepare and forward the estimate following the on-site visit.
Further, Dun-Rite has long enjoyed positive and loyal relationships with its employees. With several crews available for jobs, Dun-Rite is second-to-none when it comes to quality and efficiency. Extra precautions are taken in preserving the site during construction, such as landscaping and surrounding areas, and they are always careful to clean up following completion of the job. However, Dun-Rite does more than just care for the customers in a community. Giving back to the community is an equally important part of what they do. Dun-Rite is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Tulsa HBA and proud supporter of the local schools and other community organizations and events.
Communities served by Dun-Rite Roofing include Tulsa, Afton, Avant, Barnsdall, Bartlesville, Beggs, Bixby, Bristow, Broken Arrow, Catoosa, Chelsea, Chouteau, Claremore, Cleveland, Collinsville, Coweta, Disney, Glenpool, Fairland, Jay, Jenks, Kellyville, Kiefer, Langley, Leonard, Locust Grove, Mounds, Muskogee, Nowata, Okmulgee, Oologah, Pryor, Ramona, Salina, Sapulpa, Sand Springs, Skiatook, Turley, Okay, Owasso, Wagoner and more. Kwenchers HELPS LIGHT U P YOU R Independence Day Celebration
Why not try a do-ityourself Fourth of July drink with a delicious Cherry Bomb Mimosa? In Champagne flutes, combine pineapple juice and maraschino cherry juice. Top off with Champagne and garnish with an orange slice and enjoy.
BY TOM FINK
K
nowing the right wine to pair with your meal can make the difference between a dining experience that’s merely average and one that’s transcendent. But just as certain wines are meant to complement certain dishes, so certain adult beverages can complement and enhance the experience of a Fourth of July celebration. No one knows this more than Jason Hower. “Matching food with wine can make or break a meal, but why just food and wine? Why not pair the right fireworks or firecrackers with beer or spirits to make Independence Day fun as well as it is patriotic?” asked Jason Hower, owner, Kwenchers Wine & Spirits. While the appeal of various beers and spirits are strictly subjective, Hower offered Kwenchers guests a few fun are encouraged to visit with Hower’s pairings of longtime canine adult beverages companion, “Mac,” with their a customer favorite. corresponding fireworks. 16 |

“For starters, we carry a beer from Boulevard Brewing Company called Tank 7 – Tank 7 begins with fruity aromatics and grapefruit-hoppy notes, but the flavor of this complex, strawcolored ale tapers off to a peppery dry finish – we thought that would pair well with the little firecracker tanks,” Hower said. “Another pairing I thought of was an old-fashioned cocktail with the most old-fashioned thing there is, which is a straight Black Cat firecracker.” “Another pairing I like is with Roman Candles, which basically shoot big, bright, colorful balls of fire, so why not get some Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey to go with that?” he said. “Really, whatever theme you’re thinking of, or whatever fireworks you’re going to be shooting off or seeing shot off, we can find something to pair with it, and have fun doing so.” Hower, owner of Kwenchers for the past five years, moved from Kansas nearly 20 years ago. From there, he began working in various liquor stores in northeastern Oklahoma, first as a cashier, then as a manager. “Fortunately, one of my bosses along the way was nice enough and had enough vision and faith in me as a manager to send me to visit wineries, breweries and distilleries in Oregon, Washington, California and Colorado so I could soak
OWASSO & COLLINSVILLE JUNE 2019 WWW.VALUENEWS.COM
up as much knowledge and history about the products that I could,” he said. “One thing led to another, and after transferring to the manager of a (liquor store) in south Tulsa, I doubled sales within two years, and with that, I sought out an investor, found this property, and have owned Kwenchers for five years now.” Hower said the location, at 12914 E. 86th Street North, is “ideal” in that there’s a QuikTrip nearby, and his store shares a wall with a supermarket. “There’s really no better location for a liquor store than to be near a supermarket – people are more inclined to do their shopping – for groceries and spirits – at the same time, and even though there are some wines now available in grocery stores, they still won’t beat the selection you’re going to get at a
traditional liquor store,” he said. Kwenchers offers 11,600 square feet of store space, with more than 2,000 different wines, over 1,500 different beers, and more than 2,000 different spirits to choose from. With so many different items to choose from, Hower said it’s “quite likely” that you can find something to perfectly pair with whatever Independence Day celebration you have planned. Thinking of bottle rockets? Why not pick up bottles of beer? “Summer holidays, we move a lot of beer and this year will be exciting for us in that we have the full strength domestic beers – we’ve not been able to sell those before, and this will be our first summer beer season that we’re able to sell cold beer – that’s exciting for us,” he said. “We put in our coolers – 14 cooler doors and a walk-in ‘Beer Cave’ for people to find the beer that’s right for them.” Hower also said this will be the first year that Kwenchers will be open on the Fourth of July, making it the perfect stop for last-minute purchases. “For us, this isn’t just huge, it’s extra huge, because the Owasso fireworks display takes place on the golf course behind us, so the community congregates in the parking lot out front to watch it – with us open and open till midnight,” he said, smiling. In addition to beer, wine and spirits, Kwenchers also offers a variety of nonalcoholic drinks, energy drinks and snacks, many of them made in Oklahoma, such as Rhino Pretzels, made in Edmond, and the perfect snack
companion for any beverage, alcoholic or otherwise, Hower said. “We’re an Oklahoma business, so we support Oklahoma-made products and Oklahoma companies as much as possible,” he said. “We’ve got Oklahoma-made beer, wine, rum, whiskey, we’ve even got a regionallymade vodka.” So, whatever your preference, when considering how to add a little red, white, and blue whimsey to your Fourth of July festivities, visit Kwenchers in Owasso and ask Hower for his recommendations. “Whatever you’ve got planned, we’d appreciate you including us in those plans
Kwenchers owner Jason Hower is a participant of the Single Barrel Experience with Knob Creek, which allows liquor store owners to select the bourbon whiskey they will carry by sampling different product from different barrels.
and ask me what kind of beer or spirits to enjoy with your fireworks, and as I always tell my customers, when you drink, please be sure to drink responsibly,” he said. Kwenchers is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Summertime A TOAST TO
BY SHANNON SMITH
A
h, it’s finally summer! The kids are out of school, the pools are open, the heat is on, and everybody’s hungry. What do you make on those hot summer days when you don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen? My favorite go-to for an inexpensive and tasty meal is toast toppers. There are so many options to topping toast, and you can satisfy everyone’s palate. Whether you toast sourdough, brioche, sandwich loaf, or gluten free bread, you can dress it up with a variety of tastes, including leftovers. Start with a slice of bread that has been browned well in the toaster. It’s important that both sides of the bread are toasted so it doesn’t become soggy when the toppings are added. I like to smear some type of sauce on the toast first, such as mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, plain yogurt, mustard, or hummus. Then you can get creative and add shaved veggies, canned white beans, tuna, sliced boiled eggs, or whatever goes well with the sauce you choose. For a dessert or snack option, you can top the toast with peanut butter or Nutella, and add sliced fruit, nuts, and coconut. Of course, one of my favorite things to top toast is butter, cinnamon and sugar! Here are some of my other favorite toast toppers that make mealtime a little easier, and they’re great for the kids to make on their own. Find more of my recipes on beadsandbasil.com.

ummer in Broken Arrow’s Rose District is even cooler this year with the 16th annual Wine, Eats and Easels (WEE) event, supporting Broken Arrow Neighbors, taking place on the solstice, June 21, 2019. The best party of the year will again be hosted at the Rose District Pavilion and The Museum Broken Arrow from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Guests will enjoy entertainment, art, food and beverage selections from popular area restaurants, featured local artists, and much more in the beautiful town center. Home-grown celebrity and sax virtuoso, Grady Nichols will perform, and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the expanded addition of a Beer Garden serving craft beers. Broken Arrow Brewery, as well as several more local craft beer brands, will be available. Other activities include the ever-popular butt sketch artist, a photo booth and a

wine pull. There is something for everyone! Growing in popularity, Wine, Eats, and Easels was named Rose District Fan Favorite in 2016. This extraordinary event is one of the largest fundraisers supporting Broken Arrow Neighbors, a nonprofit organization providing “assistance with dignity” to neighbors in need. Sponsorships are available, with levels beginning at $250. Sponsors will be invited to a pre-event party under a dedicated VIP tent starting an hour before general admission and will be treated to champagne and extras to celebrate their commitment to the cause. Sponsorships are available now by contacting kgoddard@baneighbors. org. Sponsorship opportunities are listed on the BA Neighbors website at www.baneighbors.org/ newscurrent-events/wee/. Broken Arrow Neighbors Executive Director, Kim Goddard, recognizes WEE as one of the most

important fundraising events for the organization. “I love this event for a couple of reasons,” she said. “It benefits BA Neighbors, and in turn those individuals we are serving. It is also a great event for the City of Broken Arrow, in that it truly showcases the Rose District Pavilion and Main Street, as well as the Museum.” All proceeds from WEE directly benefit the organization as a whole, allowing more flexibility for items they need to provide for those they serve, whether for the food pantry or the dental and vision clinics. BA Neighbors is currently in the process of completing a new standalone 3500 square foot warehouse. “This is a perfect time for a successful fundraiser,” said Kim. Broken Arrow Neighbor’s facility has experienced incredible growth in the past few years to accommodate the demand in our area. The community garden was recently enhanced and provides

fresh fruit and vegetables to distribute. “We roll quite a bit of the produce from the garden directly into the pantry,” Kim said. The garden is tended entirely by volunteers. “We are so blessed in so many ways at Broken Arrow Neighbors, because so many people believe in our mission and are eager to help.” For more information on Wine, Eats, and Easels and Broken Arrow Neighbors, follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ WineEatsandEaselsBA or visit their website at www.baneighbors.org.

n a perfect world, the mission of The Demand Project would be unnecessary. Most of us cannot even fathom why their mission is so crucial, but the darkness they battle is unfortunately very real and entirely too prevalent in our society. It is their light that shines over victims of child sex trafficking, fighting to protect and rescue them, and working through the struggle to help them through recovery. Jason and Kristin Weis founded The Demand Project in 2013. Realizing the need for more soldiers in the field in the war against child sex trafficking, they equipped themselves with the training and tools they needed, and put their boots on the ground. Prevention is the pillar of their mission, but they are also armed and ready to rescue the victims, and walk with them on their journey to recovery. Founders Jason and Kristin Weis.
In 2017, they received a miracle, in the form of Mount Arukah. The name Arukah is of Hebrew origin, and literally means God’s Restoration. Appropriately titled, this new faithbased sanctuary will provide safety and healing for these children who have suffered so greatly. “Mount Arukah fills a gap in the system,” said Kristin. “There are only two other recovery centers in Oklahoma, and the need is too great for them to fill.” Mount Arukah will eventually house 60 child survivors, ranging in age from 11 to 17, once open. Due to the lack of facilities available to so many victims, many of these children are housed in detention centers. “Many of these kids look like criminals, because of what they’ve been forced to do,” Kristin said. “Our facility will fill that need and provide them with a safe place to nurture their road to recovery.” The demand is great, with Jason and Kristin receiving calls weekly for victim assistance. “Depending on how they come into the system, once stabilized, they will find the sanctuary they need at Arukah to begin the restoration process.” Mount Arukah is a beautiful haven in Northeastern Oklahoma, and will provide soothing and productive therapies such as equine, art, and music, as part of the process of restoration. For two years, the massive undertaking has been daunting, with an incredible restoration of the facility itself. “The miracles of the companies that have come along to help has been extraordinary,” said Jason. Kristin has
been consumed with the renovations for almost two years. “She lives and breathes Arukah,” he said. As a non-profit, and with so much work to be done, The Demand Project relies heavily on donors, sponsors, and fundraising events. “It’s been a faith walk,” Jason said. “If we didn’t have these companies alongside us, we couldn’t do it.” Funding is sometimes difficult, as it is a disturbing subject to bring awareness about, this dark element in our society. “It’s not a comfortable topic,” said Jason. “To go to this level and support us, even when it’s uncomfortable, is so crucial and incredibly appreciated.” One such event is The Demand Project annual golf tournament, to be held on Monday, June 17, 2019. All proceeds benefit their mission to protect children, stop predators, rescue victims, and restore the lives of sex trafficking victims. “We find that this event is a great way to inform and share our vision,” Jason said. The tournament will be held at The Golf Club of Oklahoma. 2019 sponsors include presenting sponsor Right Now Roofing, Allstate agent Carey Alexander, The Vintage Pearl, ImageNet Consulting, Mark Allen Chevrolet and Explorer Pipeline. For more information on the golf tournament, or how you can support The Demand Project mission, visit their website at www.thedemandproject.org, or follow them on Facebook for the latest news @thedemandproject.

rom fad diet trends to celebrity endorsed weight loss programs, there is an abundance of ways to approach developing the right health and fitness plan. However, everyone is different and the key to success is understanding the facts and science behind each process to fit your unique goals and lifestyle. In the 21st century, supplements have become a staple in the fitness and bodybuilding community, but if you don’t understand effective dosing and what ingredient profiles to look for, you may end up with the wrong product. After a life spent working in the supplement industry and competing in elite athletic programs, I’ve made it my mission to educate consumers on the most effective products available to improve their lifestyle. Protein powder is the most popular supplement on the market, which provides a clean and simple way to meet the recommended daily amount of protein intake when your food intake is insufficient. Protein is the building block of all muscles and serves as a source of energy that is essential to maintain and gain muscle mass, while also providing all essential amino acids as well as regulating enzyme and hormone function. Pre-workout, a general term for a product taken before exercise to optimize physical output, has recently gained popularity. The two main categories are stimulant and non-stimulant, which refers to whether or not the central nervous system is ramped, causing an energy and metabolism boost. Other
performance-boosting ingredients may include nootropics, amino acids, vasodilators, and cell volumizers to name a few. Nootropics enhance focus, memory and concentration. Amino acids are organic compounds that are the building blocks of proteins. Vasodilators increase nitric oxide levels in the blood, improving blood oxygen levels and blood flow. Cell volumizers such as creatine increase ATP function, maximizing muscle energy production and cellular hydration to increase workload output. No two pre-workouts are the same, so research what ingredients are most important, and try a variety of ingredient profiles to get a feel for how your body responds. Other categories of performanceenhancing supplements include recovery and hydration, fat burning, sleep aid and vitality. A post-workout hydration product prevents muscle catabolism by restoring the nutrients in the body that are used up during physical exertion, including ATP, glucose, electrolytes, amino acids and more. Fat burners increase thermogenesis to boost metabolism and suppress appetite aiding in weight loss. Sleep aids not only help you fall asleep faster but allow you to sleep deeper and wake up feeling more refreshed and energized, leading to a better mood, reduced anxiety and decreased inflammation. Vitality products are designed to naturally improve bodily functions such as energy levels and libido, and some include additional ingredients with advantages such as supporting organ health, increasing lean muscle mass, and deliver antioxidant and antiinflammatory effects. Knowing clinical effective dosing amounts at which ingredients have been scientifically proven to provide the intended results is the most important aspect of choosing between different supplement options. Just because an ingredient is listed does not mean it is at a high enough amount to be effective. There are also key ingredients to look for that
synergistically buffer the effectiveness of the primary ingredients. For example, Kre-Alkalyn is a buffered form of creatine that does not break down in water, making it 118.2% more effective against the commonly used creatine monohydrate. Product quality is also heavily affected by the standards of the manufacturing facility and source of raw ingredients. Full label disclosure means the amount of everything in the product is listed, allowing you to check for specific ingredients and effective dosing, as opposed to proprietary blends, which group ingredients by category without listing their dosing.

Here’s what our customers have to say about PermaSeal U.S.A. Preserve Your Investment We wanted to write you to express how satisfied we are with your product, service and the crew. We built our house 3 years ago including the cedar deck, as soon as we moved in we stained the deck and it looked great. Unfortunately, it only looked good for about 6 months and we knew we had to do something to protect our investment, we were not too excited about the prospect of having to stain our deck, at least once a year, to maintain it. Thank God for Permaseal, your team came out, cleaned the deck and permanently sealed the deck with the penetrating sealant. Now it looks just like the day we moved in and we do not have to stain it, unless we want
a different color than the natural wood look. Further, cleaning it is a breeze, no need to power wash it, simply hose it down. We are so happy to know we have protected our investment for at least 25 years and we have just scheduled your team to come out and permanently seal our drive way as well. We can highly recommend Permaseal to everyone that is looking for a permanent solution, peace of mind. The whole thing was a very pleasurable experience. From the initial visit, where you thoroughly explained the entire process, with no sales pressure. To the polite, punctual and professional crew that came and did the work. Thank you again for helping us preserve our investment.
Sincerely, Jenny & Ed

ummer travel can be spectacular on the open road, and smart travelers always know to ensure the mode of transportation is reliable and safe before venturing out. If you’re making plans to load up the family for a destination drive, make sure to get your vehicle to South Pointe Chevrolet Service for a free 32-point inspection for safety first. Breaking down on the side of the road is never something anyone plans on, and the best defensive is preventative service. The service team at South Pointe maintains a solid reputation for honest, highestquality customer service. Service director, Alan Mclaughlin, and his team strive to provide the most outstanding and exceptional auto support because they know that there

are many choices for dealerships offering service. “We do all the extra things we do so our customers want to come back to us,” said Alan. “We are always grateful when our customers choose us.” Their free 32-point inspection once a year on a vehicle can be the best deterrent to more trouble on down the road. A summer inspection before travel is vitally necessary to ensure the safety of your family while traveling. Extreme temperature changes with seasonal shifts can wreak havoc on the internal and external workings of a car or truck. The South Pointe inspection will include checking tires, wipers, windshield, battery, hoses, and more for wear

that could pose a hazard, or could potentially be more damaging and expensive to fix later on. Annual inspections on vehicles are a responsible part of ownership, and as there is no charge at South Pointe, why wouldn’t it be one of the first things on your list of travel preparations? “It’s just smart to make sure it’s done, to let you know if you have anything to be concerned about for you and your family’s safety,” Alan said.
“We really care about safety, and our greatest goal is to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied.” The highly trained technicians in the service center are always upto-date on the latest technology to ensure that inspections are thorough and comprehensive. Inspections rarely last longer than 30 minutes, and no appointment is necessary. As with all services, hospitality is toprate, with comfort and transparency high on their list of qualities. Refreshments are available while you
wait, and for larger scope services that take more time, loaner cars and a shuttle service are available. “We really take care of your car,” said Alan. “We try to wash each car every time you come in for service and make sure we put down floor mats.” Comfort is key with a super clean facility and friendly staff, including warm and smiling greeters to ensure customers are cared for with their first step on the lot. “We will even walk you to your car when you pick it up to make sure you’re good to go, and if you have any questions,” Alan said. “We really care about safety, and our greatest goal is to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied. We want our customers to feel like family because that’s how we would want to be treated.”
