Here’s what our customers have to say about PermaSeal U.S.A. Preserve Your Investment We wanted to write you to express how satisfied we are with your product, service and the crew. We built our house 3 years ago including the cedar deck, as soon as we moved in we stained the deck and it looked great. Unfortunately, it only looked good for about 6 months and we knew we had to do something to protect our investment, we were not too excited about the prospect of having to stain our deck, at least once a year, to maintain it. Thank God for Permaseal, your team came out, cleaned the deck and permanently sealed the deck with the penetrating sealant. Now it looks just like the day we moved in and we do not have to stain it, unless we want

We are so happy to know we have protected our investment for at least 25 years and we have just scheduled your team to come out and permanently seal our drive way as well. We can highly recommend Permaseal to everyone that is looking for a permanent solution, peace of mind. The whole thing was a very pleasurable experience. From the initial visit, where you thoroughly explained the entire process, with no sales pressure. To the polite, punctual and professional crew that came and did the work. Thank you again for helping us preserve our investment.

SU Public TV is changing channel from channel 36 to channel 32. This will occur on February 11, 2019. Why? It’s called “repacking”. Repacking is mandatory by the FCC and will affect three stations in the Tulsa television market including RSU Public TV. By definition, repacking is the process of moving broadcasters into a smaller and more tightly packed spectrum band in order to free up broadcast spectrum for wireless carriers nation-wide. Resulting in the need to upgrade out dated equipment. Royal Aills, general manager of RSU Public TV says, “This is really a blessing for us. Our transmitter is at end of life. With a new transmitter, we will operate for the next 20 years”. Viewers on cable and satellite should not be affected. Viewers who watch TV over the air with an antenna will need to rescan their TV’s on February 11th at 9am. Aills says, “Viewers who have trouble rescanning their TV’s can go to our website at rsu.tv or call for instruction on who to rescan. We will also have a phone bank set up should anyone want to call. We will walk them through the rescan”. That number is 1.800.823.7210. So how do you rescan your TV’s? Select “scan” or “autotune” on the TV or converter box control menu to start the scanning process. Instructions are usually available by pressing the “set-up” or “menu” buttons on the remote control. This move is happening behind the scenes, so the channel number viewers know will not change. No additional equipment purchases is required. Plan to Rescan on February 11th at 9am! RSU Public TV has been on the air for 37 years and is the only university-owned public TV station in Oklahoma.

Anticipate Fraud.

"Dealing with fraud is a painful process," said Aaron Latsos, owner of Smokie’s BBQ in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma who has firsthand experience with check fraud.
Latsos now protects his account with Positive Pay (PosPay), a valuable tool that authenticates payments before processing.
PosPay can cover both paper items (checks) and electronic transactions (ACH debits, credits).
Latsos is diligent and reviews his accounts daily, which is why he noticed the suspicious charges. They appeared to be duplicate charges from stores he regularly shops, except the charges were out-of-state. Someone had his business account number and was making counterfeit checks.
Now the pain. When fraud occurs, you have to shut down your account. Open a new one and re-establish all your automatic payments, payroll and direct deposits.
"Not to mention the hassle of filing paperwork with the proper authorities in an effort to recover lost funds," Latsos said. "Never again."
Invest in yourself.

ost people who drive past The Coffee Bunker might think it is a trendy coffee bar. Some have even ventured in to ask if they can purchase a cup of coffee. It’s not what you might think. Those who are familiar with the place know that it is a haven and refuge for veterans, and its crucial role needs to be recognized.
The mission of the Coffee Bunker is to meet veterans “where they are,” and help with the transition to family and community life. They are Tulsa’s only peer-run drop-in center, and they provide a familyfriendly, alcohol-free and drug-free environment. The 3500 square foot facility is set up for veterans and their families to get together, use a computer, access wi-fi, enjoy games and group activities, watch TV or movies, or just hang out. Coffee and snacks are also available in a warm and inviting lounge where veterans can visit and find support. Barbara Scruggs, Ph.D., RN, is the Therapeutic Activities coordinator for the center and has experienced loss of her own, making her acutely more aware of the needs that veterans face. “What we have here at the Coffee Bunker Ba arrb bar ara a Sc S rugg gs, PhD, hD, hD is a different picture than RN RN, N, Ther erap er a eu ap uti ticc Accti t vi viti ties ti es what you find anywhere else,” Coo Co ordiinatto or, r, and Sco ottt said Barbara. “Our place is Blac Blac ack kbur u n, Ope pera ra atiio on ns Ma Man nage age ger. a one-of-a-kind place and it’s essential.” In addition to the peer support offered at the Coffee Bunker founder, Mary Ligon, lost her son, Cpl. February 1-28, The Coffee Bunker will be hosting a Veteran’s Art Show at The Hive, 115 South 1st Street, in Jenks. A Med Spa is all about helping you reach your New Year’s goals! With an amazing array of customizable services for complete body and skin care, you can rule 2019 feeling your absolute best! Melody Hawkins, practice manager, is proud of her team of licensed nurse practitioners and PAs, offering the best in weight loss, anti-aging, and health treatments, as well as overall rejuvenation. BA Med Spa even offers hormone therapy. “Whether you have hormone or medical concerns, weight loss or care issues, we are here to help you,” said Melody. All initial consultations, first visits, are complementary. The Med Spa offers a multitude of programs, all customizable to suit the needs of their patients. Just a handful of their therapies are highlighted below.
Weight Loss Programs
The Med Spa programs include the ever-popular HCG, with updated program enhancements to be healthier and more effective in the long-term. “We’ve tailored our program to a higher calorie count than the older version, at right about 1200 calories a day, which enables about 30 minutes of cardio exercise a day,” said Melody. “This has been proven successful with about a 1lb to 1 ½lb a day in weight loss.” The innovative new increased calorie diet with exercise helps determine keeping results for the long-term.

Body Sculpting
Once weight loss goals have been reached, BA Med Spa offers Cool Sculpting, one of America’s fastest growing procedures. “Simply because it works!” Melody said. “Every patient gets results.” Cool Sculpting targets specific fat areas, such as love handles, double chin, inner thighs, or any stubborn areas that are a nuisance despite weight loss and exercise. “We can target those areas, and get 25% fat reduction in one treatment,” said Melody. “You will get surgical like results without ever going under a knife, no down time, and no risk of scarring.” Cool Sculpting provides the same results as liposuction without the risk. “It’s everyone’s favorite procedure,” Melody said.
Anti-Aging
“Our staff is comprised of experienced medical cosmetic treatment providers,” said Melody. All BA Med Spa staff is required to participate in quarterly training to stay up to date and knowledgeable about current and new treatments. The Med Spa specializes in Botox injections and Dermafillers. “We try to keep our antiaging
treatment prices affordable to the masses, because we want to make sure everyone can afford to feel beautiful,” she said.
Rejuvenation
One of the newest procedures at BA Med Spa is the laser resurfacing treatment for deep and fine lines. Additionally, Vaginal Rejuvenation procedures have been introduced, and have been received well with patients. “It really helps to address issues women don’t think are necessary, so they just suffer in silence,” said Melody. Some symptoms that would validate the procedure are vaginal atrophy, dryness, looseness, or inability to climax during intercourse. The Med Spa has treated patients for these issues with a 100% success rate, and usually a 75% improvement in 3 treatments. Additionally, urinary incontinence can be remedied with the procedure. “50% of women have this problem, especially after childbirth, and that issue can be completely cured after three treatments, with minimal downtime,” Melody said. “When we talk about the symptoms that justify Vaginal Rejuvenation, so many women say that’s me, I’m who you’re talking about. We can fix that really quick and in a hurry.” Men may also seek consultation about rejuvenation.

While there is no one action that will guarantee cancer prevention, there are many lifestyle changes you can make that will significantly reduce your risk of developing cancer and other serious health issues: • Quit smoking. Smoking not only increases your risk of cancer, but it also increases your risk of heart disease, stroke, and many other diseases. Quitting is hard, but your doctor can suggest resources that will help. • Eat more fruits and vegetables, and less sugar, processed meat, and red meat. • Maintain a healthy weight. For most adults, a BMI (Body Mass Index) below 25 is recommended. • Exercise more – and sit less! Physical activity helps reduce cancer risk as well as the risk of heart disease and diabetes. • Reduce your alcohol intake. Recent studies show a connection between even moderate alcohol consumption and certain cancers. One more action you can take this January to improve your health: make – and keep – your doctor appointments! Your physician will tell you if you are due for any tests or cancer screenings, including mammograms, prostate screenings, lung cancer screenings and/or colonoscopies, based upon your age, overall health condition, and family medical history. Staying up to date with your appointments and screenings is one of the best ways to detect cancer at its earliest and most treatable stages. Take control of your health and make 2019 your healthiest year yet! For more information, call us at Northeastern Oklahoma Cancer Institute at 918.283.4078.

On every visit, your vehicle receives a free visual inspection. You also receive a printed report reminding you of maintenance schedules and informing you of anything you should know about your vehicle based upon its time spent on the road. If needed, a treatment plan will be recommended. The report is easy to understand with ratings of Pass, Caution or Fail so you’ll know if additional attention is needed. The Multi-Point Inspection includes items like tire tread depth, condition of hoses and clamps, brake lining thickness, drive belts, battery terminals and cables, and a windshield inspection for cracks, chips or pitting. A tech’s report will also include items like engine, transmission and cooling system inspections. Tire pressure will be checked and adjusted if needed. This is a very thorough bumper-tobumper inspection of your vehicle. If there is a recommendation for further service, the report will include a list of labor and material costs with an explanation to help you understand the reasons for the recommended services. Again, your safety and confidence is the goal

Once your vehicle is in the system, you choose to receive maintenance reminders by email, regular mail or by phone. After one month, any new or used vehicle you’ve purchased from South Pointe is invited in for a free wash and checkup. Koger also spoke of a program available to customers who require help paying for their automotive repairs. CFS (Confident Financial Solutions) is available to anyone 18 years or older who has a valid email address and resides in a state where CFS is licensed to do business. Applicants apply online at www. mycfsapp.com. In minutes they receive a credit decision and Cliff indicates that the approval rate is high. If approved, CFS will pay your repair shop directly for up to your maximum approved amount. Simple interest is only applied to the amount you borrow, not compounded on the interest itself. The application process generally takes a few minutes. CFS funds the repair amount once repairs

Take a Break
PLAN THE ULTIMATE SPRING VACATION BY TOM FINK
T
he winter chill may be here now, but the spring thaw will be coming to northeast Oklahoma soon, and with the spring comes the annual break from studies for high school and college students everywhere – spring break. Although the ideal spring break may still be months away, it’s never too early to start thinking about the where and how of your spring break,

so the sooner you start making plans, the better and more likely it will be a spring break you’ll remember for all the right reasons. First and foremost, plan, plan, plan. Months before your spring break, begin to think about where you and whoever will be accompanying you, whether it’s family or friends, want to visit. Consider the time and resources required for various
destinations, whether it’s a return to a favorite vacation spot or it’s a firsttime trip to somewhere new. A few possible spring break destinations for you to consider might be: Clearwater, Jacksonville Beach, or Key West Florida. Although Padre Island or Galveston might be closer by way of car, if you’ve got the time and resources, a trip to any
of Florida’s beaches would be a trip you’ll not soon forget. Jacksonville Beach boasts amazing restaurants, a weekend bar scene, and is within an hour’s drive from the more crowded and known Daytona Beach. Key West is as far south in the mainland U.S. and is as close to an actual vacation to the Caribbean that you can plan without needing your passport. With its clear water, laid-back atmosphere, and little traffic, Key West should be on anyone’s bucket list, and spring break would be an ideal opportunity to experience it for yourself. And as for Clearwater, Florida, it was rated last year’s top beach in the U.S. by TripAdvisor. With more than 1,300 miles of coastline, Florida is a haven for beach-lovers. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Myrtle Beach is famed for its amusement-park rich boardwalk (but beware overpriced tourist traps), and it happens to be the central hub for more than 60 miles of pristine coastline, with plenty of spots for places to party or enjoy some quiet time with someone special. The Outer Banks, North Carolina. Less a party beach than a picturesque destination full of historic lighthouses, with watersports, state parks, and great seafood. The Outer Banks may be less rowdy than other beaches (Galveston included), but its windswept beaches can be a magical experience for families, couples, and close friends. For those disinclined to go to the beach, other vacation ideas would include some time on a lake (of which, Oklahoma has no shortage), skiing, visiting any of the nation’s beautiful national parks (Yellowstone, Yosemite, Arches National Park, Zion National Park, Grand Teton National Park or the Grand Canyon rank among the country’s best), or visit any of the region’s unique cities, such as New Orleans, La., Savanna, Ga. Nashville, Tenn., or one that appeals to you.
Once you’ve decided on a vacation spot, compare the different travel options available to you, whether those be by car or vehicle, airplane, or other, as well as the different places at where you’ll be staying once there or once you arrive or along the way, should you be traveling by car and for more than a day. It may be necessary to purchase tickets for the chosen method of travel as well as reserving a room of your choice at nearby hotels or motels. It’s important to note that the sooner you purchase tickets and/or make hotel reservations, the better, as early planning will not only be good for your wallet, but increase the likelihood of hotel and ticket availability. Hotwire, Travelocity, and Expedia are a few websites to help you find the hotel that’s right for you and your party, or if you’re looking for a spring break package, special deals aplenty can be found at Travelzoo.com and studentcity.com/ spring-break-deals. Secondly, research, research, research. Should you be traveling to a new location, it’s crucial to have a good idea to know what to expect before you arrive, particularly if your plans take you not just across the country, but out of it. If possible, check the usual climate for the time of year that you’ll be traveling, as well as find local spots of interest (other than the obvious, such as Disney World or Universal Studios, should you be planning a trip to Orlando, Florida, for example). Depending on where you’re traveling, you may need to bring a passport, birth certificate, or photo ID, and should you be leaving the country, you may need to exchange your (American) currency for that used in the country into which you’ll be traveling. Third, be prepared to make and stick to a budget, but also, expect unexpected expenses. (continued on next page)

(continued from previous page) Remember, you’re going to have fun, but you may hit some figurative and literal speedbumps along the way, particularly if you’re driving. Be sure the vehicle you’re taking is roadready, and up to making the trip, however long the trip may be. Check the condition of the spare tire before leaving, and have the telephone number of AAA or roadside assistance in case of emergency. Also, be mindful of differences in gas prices from state to state, and that your cell phone plan may charge extra for calls made out of normal areas of coverage, overseas calls, even moreso. Should you be planning to fly, according to Airfarewatchdog, the two best days to fly are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, if you’re wanting to save some money. The next cheapest days to fly are Thursday and Saturday. Lastly, get ready to get packing. Get your checklist of essentials for the trip (passport, clothing, luggage, currency, etc.) and start packing weeks before you depart. Before you leave, if your home or apartment is going to be vacant, have the post office hold your mail for the week to keep it from collecting in your mailbox, and

if you have pets, be sure you have someone to care for them during your absence. If you’re flying, be familiar with the airline you’re going to be taking and allow yourself considerable time at the airport, both before takeoff, and after you land. Should a road trip or plane trip not be in your budget, there are plenty of nearby activities where you can make memories, or, more economical still, is the ever-popular
“staycation,” allowing you to enjoy your time off without the need of packing a suitcase. Don’t think of a staycation as a cop-out, think of it as a little time for resting and relaxing. Turn off your phone, laptop and other devices, and start on that book you’ve been meaning to read or start that art or other project you don’t normally have time to do, and the best part is that it doesn’t cost you a thing. If you do feel like getting out, like a traditional vacation, make plans (and a list) of nearby restaurants, shops or merchants you’ve been meaning to get to but haven’t had the chance to and finally pay them a visit, taking with you, your friends or family to share in the experience. For the kids, have them invite friends over and let them go camping -- in their own back yard. Just have them pitch a tent and “rough it” outside with all the comforts of home just a few yards away. To make the most of your staycation, whether you’re taking time for yourself or making memories with family, have a plan so that the days don’t slip away without you taking advantage of the precious free time.

SHOW THE LOVE this Valentine’s Day! BY MACY GOODNIGHT
O
h, how I love thee? Let me count the ways. These words from sonnet 43 from Elizabeth Barrett Browning are timeless and romantic, but how about the many ways you can SHOW the one you love how much you care! Soon, everywhere you look there will be cards, candy hearts, chocolates, and roses galore ready for purchase for Valentine’s Day. There are so many unique and special ways to celebrate this holiday beyond the giving of these traditional gifts. Here’s a list of 11 new and exciting ways to embrace the romance and enchantment of this annual celebration of love!
2
CREATE A MEANINGFUL MUSIC PLAYLIST.
Compiling a soundtrack of the most romantic songs enjoyed together is a distinguished way to remember special moments with each other. It’s easier now than ever before to download music and save to a disc or thumb drive. There are also websites such as Spotify and YouTube, that allow anyone to compile playlists and share online. The time and effort involved in creating such a special gift will surely be recognized!
1
TAKE A CLASS TOGETHER.
There’s always something new to learn, and enjoying the experience together is a wonderful way to bond! There are many places in the area who offer painting, crafting, and cooking classes, and some of them include wine and beer! Doesn’t get much better than that! You will also have a creative memento to take home, making it a most unforgettable experience.

PLAN A WEEKEND GETAWAY.
There is no shortage of beautiful landscapes and unique sights within a short drive in our incredible state.
A quick adventure together is sure to delight and is a snap to plan with online resources. Travelok.com is the perfect place to search for area festivals, destinations, lodging, and dining in Oklahoma. ValueNews. com also offers a search to assist in finding the best information on many different interests to see and experience locally.
4
PLAN A PARTY FOR TWO!
Valentine’s is all about celebrating love, and what better way to do that than to have a party! Take the time to plan some decorations, dinner and dessert (of course!), and maybe even some dancing in the kitchen. Have fun with it! After all, it only takes two to tango.
5
COMPILE A ROMANTIC SCAVENGER HUNT.
Between you and your sweetheart, compile a list of the most memorable local places you have experienced together. Go back to those places
and reminisce, maybe take a picture together. You will have something to take away from your time together, while remembering how you got where you are. Shutterfly.com allows users to compose digital photo scrapbooks, making a permanent extension of the gift a possibility.
6
GET ADVENTUROUS!
For some of us, it may mean getting of our comfort zone, but try something new together. Whether it is a visit to the local rock-climbing gym, ice skating, roller skating, hiking, kayaking, or horseback riding; anything that stimulates the senses will clearly enhance the passion in any relationship!
7
HIT THE SPA.
Many local spas have couple’s packages for two lovers to enjoy together. Taking time to relax and melt away the stress of daily life is the perfect way to show someone you truly care about their well-being. (continued on next page)

SCHEDULE PROFESSIONAL PORTRAITS.
11
KEEP IT SIMPLE, SWEETHEART.
Selfies are great but allowing a professional photographer to capture the sweetness you share with professional expertise is unequivocal. Scheduling time to meet in a studio or in an artistic landscape with natural outdoor lighting is an amazing way to commemorate the love you share now, in this time and this place. Your future selves will thank you.
GET YOUR GROOVE ON.
Dance together. You don’t have to have rhythm to hold the one you love and sway to romantic music. If you are feeling more enthusiastic, there are numerous places in the area to take dance lessons together, including ballroom and swing dancing. If dancing in public is not your thing, see #2 and #3 in this list, and take it from there in your kitchen or living room, or even better, outside under the stars (weather permitting).
9
VISIT A LOCAL WINERY.
Oklahoma is quickly becoming a wine lover’s dream, with vineyards popping up all over our beautiful state. A quick search for wineries on tripadvisor.com will turn up the top 10 locally owned, with links to their websites for more information. Taking in a wine tour will offer beautiful countryside drives with particularly tasty benefits.

It’s not necessary to stress about making the perfect Valentine’s Day. The point is to celebrate each other, and the love you share. olby Ballou, Fixed Operations Director at South Pointe Chevrolet, has announced that the company’s service department will feature a series of Child Safety Seat events throughout 2019. The quarterly clinics are scheduled for Saturday, February 16, May 18, August 17 and November 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Events are held at South Pointe Chevrolet service bay and are conducted by safety experts representing Safe Kids Tulsa. Admission is free and open to anyone with kids who want their child’s safety seat inspected. There will be door prizes including safety seats and more. Safe Kids Worldwide was founded in 1988 by Martin R. Eichelberger, M.D. and Herta Feely, a public relations professional, at Children’s National Health System in Washington, D.C. With others, they created the National SAFE KIDS Campaign, the only U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing
unintentional childhood injuries. Today, Safe Kids works around the world to reduce traffic injuries and more. Since inception, there has been a 60 percent decrease in the unintentional injury rate among children 19 years and younger. Preventable injuries are the #1 killer of kids in the United States. Throughout the world, almost one million children die of injuries each year, and almost every one of these tragedies is preventable. South Pointe and Safe Kids Tulsa contribute to protecting our kids through safety clinics. “Losing one child is one too many,” says Ballou. “We don’t want any parent to have to endure the loss of a child. Our hope is to raise awareness of improperly installed or ineffective car seats that may be risking the life or injury to a child. At our clinics, parents learn if their child’s safety seat is installed correctly and if it’s the proper style and size to offer full protection at the child’s current age.

We strive to raise safety awareness and, hopefully, influence moms and dads to attend one of our clinics. It’s a simple decision any parent can make, it only takes a few minutes of your time and it could possibly save a child’s life.” For information on determining the safety seat that’s right for your child, visit www.safercar.gov/ therightseat. one that’s best for your child. You’ll be asked to provide your child’s age, height and weight prior to being shown seat types that will best protect your child. The service department includes Colby Ballou, Service Director Wes Adams, six service advisors and 16 master technicians. They are also tire specialists carrying most major brands. “We probably have the largest tire inventory of any Tulsa area Chevy dealer,” added Ballou, “but, if we don’t have the tire you need, we can usually get same-day or next-day delivery. We also offer a price-match guarantee and up to $200 off your purchase when you order four tires. Basically, you purchase three tires and get the fourth free.” South Pointe offers the GM BuyPower Card, a credit card that helps you get your next new
car. Card holders are rewarded with Earnings on every purchase they make, redeemable toward the purchase of a new Chevrolet or other GMC vehicle. Get full details of this program at the dealership. “We’re committed to the safety of you and your family,” assures Ballou. “Everything we do in our service department is related to keeping your vehicle running smoothly and safely. Come in the next time you need servicing or manufacturer recommended maintenance. And please, accept our invitation to attend one of our quarterly child safety seat clinics. We think you’ll be pleased with the way we treat customers.”

rtsOK’s Art After Hours will host the works of Lawton artist Robert Peterson with an opening reception on January 4th, 5:30 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. at the Museum of Broken Arrow, 400 S. Main St. This event is open and free to the public. Peterson will be available along with several pieces of highly acclaimed original art. His art will continue to be displayed at the museum through February 2nd during regular museum hours. Presenting sponsor for this event is Premier Consulting Partners. Franklin’s Toast will be providing drinks and appetizers. Peterson creates lavishly detailed portraits of celebs, animals, people and other subjects using his own vision to capture the utmost reality. Some of his art are photorealism and others combine a mix of techniques. His stunning paintings are more than meets they eye – each stroke of his brush evokes magic and beauty that only his originality possesses.
7 years ago at age 31, Peterson was working at Goodyear and received news from his doctor that he needed a hip replacement. Not such good news for such a young man. The surgery wasn’t without complications. Married at 19 and father of 3, he wanted something to leave for his family; that’s when he stopped off at the gift shop and spent $13.00 on some paint and canvas. Before that time he had never painted and knew very little about art other than some sketching he would do as a pastime. Within six months after his surgery he had created a collection of thirtyfour celebrity paintings of famous New Yorkers and was invited to do his first art show “Faces of New York” in New York City. While there his opportunities soared. He was invited for interviews at ABC, BET, MTV along with other media outlets. At the show, he was affirmed by RL Sparks, the same person who popularized Andy Warhol. Sparks called “Best of Show” which happened to be his painting “Mos Def ” who is an actor, musician, and director from Brooklyn. He was also awarded Spotlight Artist of the Year at Art Basel 2017. This year he was commissioned by the Oklahoma City Thunder organization to paint Russell Westbrook in honor of his 108th triple double. He is a major supporter of the
“Aside from my wife and d kids these two things currently motivate me the most. One, reprresents what I could be doing if I grow too comfortable and slack off on creating new work. These are the last pair of boots I wore e while working a 12 hour shift at a factory doing something that gave me absolutely no peace. The other, it represents something much larger than what you see. It represents inspiration. It inspired an artist over 50 years ago to create a work of art that would explore the relationship between artistic expression and advertissing. Not only did his silkscreen works of art featuring cans of sou up make millions of dollars and allowed him the ability to create e more art, his works have all outlived him. I always tell myself I am one painting away from either one of these two. So on my table, in my studio where I rest my brus ushe us h s, tubes he ub u bes of paint, cleaner and othe er art supplies siits t a pair air of old ai d wor o kb bo oots otts and a dusty can of tomato soup up up.” p..”” - Peterson
arts in his community; and actively contributes to the Lawton – Ft. Sill Art Council. 100% of the money he raises from his prints helps fund the organization. His goal is to provide enough funding to enable them to continue services without struggles. Today, Peterson’s art is celebrated universally. He credits his strength and creativity to God and his wife. He enjoys establishing relationships with his collectors. “My art is created in love. Gods work in my hands.”
