Friends and Associates, I am honored and excited to present the MS Finance Employment Report for the Class of 2016. With another year of strong employment outcomes, the Vanderbilt MS Finance investment continues to produce great returns. n Continued
Employment Success. Ninety-five percent of the MS Finance Class of 2016 had accepted full-time job offers by 90 days after graduation, bringing the four-year average for the program to 98%.
n High
Student Satisfaction. From on-campus employer access to individualized coaching services unmatched by any other school, no program offers broader and deeper support to job seekers. In 2016, student satisfaction with MS Finance career management services surged to a new record high for the third consecutive year.
n Excellent
Outcomes for Foreign Nationals. Our goal is to be the program of choice for foreign nationals with the greatest career potential, and we have firmly established ourselves as such. Ninety-two percent of foreign nationals had accepted employment offers by 90 days after graduation, continuing a track record of very strong career outcomes for these Owen MSF job seekers.
Much of our success can be attributed to the strong Vanderbilt alumni base. As one of the most established and well-respected MS Finance programs in the country, we boast an active MS Finance alumni base. Alumni of our top 25 MBA program are also an invaluable resource when job seekers are working to expand their professional networks. A loyal and accessible alumni network is absolutely essential in today’s competitive job market, and that is exactly what the Vanderbilt MS Finance offers. Additionally, we prepare students to succeed long before they even set foot on campus in August. And it works. As I enter my seventh year leading MS Finance career management services, I am proud of the steep trajectory of both the program and our graduates’ careers.
