OWEN PARTNERS ASSOCIATION (OPA) OPA is a club that helps connect spouses, fiancées, partners and families to the Owen community Pursuing a business school education at Vanderbilt is a significant joint decision, and we feel it is important to support and include all who are involved. We hope that by joining OPA, you will have a unique and rewarding experience as a member of the larger Owen community. All partners are encouraged to participate in social events and Owen clubs and to take advantage of all of the outstanding resources on the Vanderbilt campus. We want you to feel as welcomed and involved as possible because we know that this is both an exciting and challenging time for you and your significant other.

Kristen Bright
Kristen and her husband, Dylan, relocated to Nashville from Louisville, Kentucky so Dylan could pursue his MBA at Vanderbilt. Kristen took on a role at Bridgestone Americas in Digital Marketing with the company’s commercial division. She previously worked in healthcare and senior living, always in marketing and events. Kristen and Dylan live in the Green Hills area with their energetic dog, Ollie. They try to attend as many Owen events as possible and love being a part of the Owen family!

Meg and her husband, Joe, moved to Nashville from Boston, Massachusetts so Joe could pursue his MBA at Owen. An AmeriCorps alumna, Meg’s career has been in nonprofit program management and she was thrilled to find a thriving nonprofit sector in Nashville, where she joined staff at Teach For America. Meg and Joe and their cat Pippi live in Hillsboro Village and enjoy exploring each of Nashville’s unique neighborhoods, as well as nearby cities in the Southeast. “Being part of OPA has made the move to a new city so easy, and we love having a community of partners who are having a similar experience as we are.”
