He gives a brochure about the school. So Spencer can read the necessary information about (the customs in) the school.

Voix off David and Ed are students at Saint Mary’s School in Galway, in Ireland. They meet in the playground, after the summer holiday.

David Hi, Ed. How are you?

Ed Hi, David. I’m fine! What about you? It’s good to see you again after the holiday.

David Yes, you’re right, it’s great. But the holiday was too short… Well, here we are back at school and in the 4th year! Incredible. What options are you doing this year?

Ed I am doing the science option; that means physics, chemistry, biology and maths.

David Wow! That’s not for me.

Ed And what about you? What subjects are you taking?

David Languages: French and German as well as Greek. I find languages more interesting than science.

Ed I don’t like these subjects. So, we won’t have any classes together this year.

David Probably not, but we can meet at recess. And this year, I will come to school by bus and so we will travel together.

Ed Oh, this is the most interesting news of the day!

David Ed, do you know Spencer Gilmore?

Ed No, I don’t know him. Why do you ask me that?

David Because this year he is a pupil at our school.

Ed Oh! What is he like?

David He’s a great guy. He’s very friendly, honest and he’s always in a good mood. If you see him, tell me.

Ed Well, what does he look like?
