Having previously majored in English before completing her bachelor’s in social work, Haley has always had a passion for writing, particularly when it comes to the fashion industry. Ava is a current student in the Global Fashion Marketing program at Blanche Macdonald Centre. With assfirations of one day starting her own fashion magazine, Ava carries a passion in fashion styling, photography, writing and graphic design.

With spring just around the corner, we can now finally get excited about the warmer weather to come. While we may still be waiting for the sun to shine more frequently, and the cherryblossoms to bloom, let’s take a look at the fabulous upcoming collections for any child or teen seeking fashionable, and high quality clothing for the upcoming spring and summer season.

Cemarose

Cémarose is a Vancouver-based children’s clothing store, featuring whimsical and playful designs such as fairy-wings, Fendi-clad teddy bears and leopard print sweat suits. The store offers a wide variety of prints and graphics that are sure to delight any child.

Known for their trendsetting children’s clothing, Cémarose offers a great selection of international luxury brands and independent designers, appealing to parents who want to dress their children in stylish and unique pieces.

Cémarose has both a physical store location and a strong digital presence through their online shop, allowing customers worldwide to access their merchandise from the comfort of their own homes.

Blue Tamburin

Blue Tamburin is a children’s dresswear collection, founded by Korean designer Bomin Kim,whose work has previously been recognized at Seoul Fashion Week and New York in Haute Couture. The collection features classical tones and silhouettes, with a focus on empowering individuals to express themselves through fashion.

Each piece showcases the luxuriousness and timeless style of classical silhouettes with details such as polka dots, full skirts, capelets, and a silver coat tail jacket.

Blue Tamburin offers unique formal attire for children with rich jewel tones such as navy blue and forest green, creating standout pieces of exceptional quality.

VISM Education Group focuses on music and art education for children aged 3-16.

They have 6 school campuses throughout the Lower Mainland. They are the official training school of Vancouver Kids Fashion Week Spring Summer 2023 and also provided two performances.

VISM Education Group focuses on music and art education for children aged 3-16. They have 6 school campuses throughout the Lower Mainland. They are the official training school of Vancouver Kids Fashion Week Spring Summer 2023 and also provided two performances.

Another performance is a chinese musical “Ah Tu Jiang Zi” performed by Coco Ji, Evan Chai, Jasmine Li, Kingsley Yu and Jinghan Chu. The story is about a mysterious bunny that triggered a storm in a family. In the story, a little girl stood out to protect her dignity and her will. After a duration of Chinese-style parenting, the parents finally got released and once again were able to enjoy freedom. In the end, peacefulness returned to the family.

Fenghari is a children’s clothing brand that offers a wide range of items, including beautiful prints, knitwear, leather, and suede items. The collection features , leather playsuits and jackets, along with a variety of items for different ages.

The brand procures the finest children’s garments from all over Europe, working only with a handful of designers whose quality and attention to detail are second to none.

Fenghari was the featured brand of the Spring/Summer 2023 at Vancouver Kids Fashion Week,showcasing pieces from Hucklebones of London and Balloon Chic. Hucklebones of London creates charming pieces filled with easy-going elegance, all with timeless appeal. Their beautiful clothing is made from the softest of cotton and silk. Balloon Chic, designed in Athens, Greece, offers styles for every little girl, using organic cotton and other quality fabrics. Their Marine Collection is perfect for setting sail on any adventure.

Little Princess Grown

Little Princess Gown is a dream come true for any child who loves princesses and fairytales. With its stunning silhouettes, array of colors, and tulle fantasy design, the gowns perfectly capture magic and elegance.

There are versions of the garments for both younger and older children, providing options for various age groups. Many of the gowns can also be worn as prom dresses for teens graduating high school, showcasing the versatility of the brand’s designs.

Tiered skirts, sheer fabrics, and sweetheart necklines all add to the magical and whimsical look of the gowns. Little Princess Gown offers customizable styles, colors, and fabrics, allowing customers to create their unique and personalized look

MiFresa was founded by Vivien Liao, who has a love for clothes and believes that they should be worn for a long time. The designer takes great pride in seeing happy children wear her designs.

MiFresa is the epitome of Taiwanese handcrafted clothing, and Liao’s wish is for it to be more than just an ordinary company. She sees it as an attitude and a manifestation of the desire to help parents choose only the best for their babies, with every detail crafted with dedicated attention.

The bold and colorful prints of MiFresa’s garments are stunning, with striking patterns and impeccable construction. These eye-catching items will make anyone turn their head toward the stylish child adorned in the clothes. The collection includes a variety of items such as sailor collars, kimono-inspired shirts, jumpsuits, skirts, and dresses. This inspired her to create a brand that caters to every child’s unique style. The passion is evident in the attention to detail and the wide selection of designs offered by Victoria & Valentina.

Yehoo Baby

Yeehoo Baby is a boutique store located in Aberdeen Center, Richmond. They specialize in high-quality clothing for infants and young children. The store offers designer clothing that is both stylish and comfortable, ensuring that children have the best of both worlds.

The beautifully crafted garments feature a range of eye-catching designs, including animal prints, rainbows, and more traditional patterns, such as houndstooth. The dresses feature pearl buttons down the front, adding an extra touch of elegance.

At the Yeehoo Baby show, brands such as Kenzo and Moschino were featured, show casing the store’s dedication to offering high-end clothing. The collection includes a variety of items for different events, from everyday school wear to formal dresses. Skirts and cardigans were also showcased, as well as stylish sweatpants, providing parents with the ability to shop for a range of occasions at one convenient location.

INDIGO EDUCATION

Indigo Education is dedicated to provide learning foundations and exceptional learning opportunities to children ranging from 2-year-olds, all the way up to adolescence, with a focus on public speaking, emcee training, creative writing, drama and much more.

Moreover, we provide admissions consultation services for top private schools in Canada and the US.

Our main purpose is to help children gain confidence, life skills and the foundation they need to succeed later in life. In addition to that, we organize speech competitions, musicals, fashion shows and summer/winter camps all year long. We believe that our children deserve a platform as big as they can dream of, to showcase their talents and what they have learnt from our courses. There are many upsides to participating in exceptional learning after school. It is a part of character the building process. Participating in arts and performing arts can vastly improve kids’ strength of body and mind, whether it is through public speaking, musical theatre, rap, or creative writing. Participation in arts allows kids to grow their self-esteem and self-confidence, develop poise, and overcome anxieties. It also allows for deep selfexpression from a child’s heart. This process will inevitably influence the children’s growth, and help shape them into well-rounded human beings. There is a old saying in Chinese: Walking ten thousand miles, reading ten thousand books. We encourage kids to reach out and participate in all kinds of activities that will benefit them later in life.

By participating in our programs and events, we are hope that your children are then sharpened into kind, well-adjusted human beings, and thus are put on the right track for the future.
