Minnesota Youth Soccer and Vetiver Solutions Team Up to Support International Communities

M

YSA is happy to work with Vetiver Solutions, a company dedicated to reducing poverty and malnutrition in Haiti by making sustainable agriculture profitable. Vetiver Solutions was founded by Jesse Abelson, a St. Louis Park High School graduate and MYSA alum. Jesse’s personal connection with soccer is helping grow communities and economic opportunity. MYSA will be donating 75 soccer balls as Vetiver Solutions continues to support the local community of Moreau. In addition to supporting sustainable agriculture and helping farmers expand their local bee population to increase crop yields, Jesse is working on funding a soccer field for the community. The field will provide an economic opportunity for the community by allowing local farmers to sell products during the games, rent out the space, and potentially have a market.
