VINTAGE ANNUAL RALLY Ten cars meet at Cutler Park for the re-run of the Vintage Annual Rally. The day was much brighter with no sign of the heavy rain or high winds that previously caused the postponement of the rally in November. After a simple drivers briefing cars got away turning right form Cutler Park heading up to Kaiapoi. Crossing over the motorway overbridge and skirting around Rangiora to cross the Ashley River we headed into North Lowburn. Some great views were enjoyed back over the Canterbury Plains as we started to climb up to Birch Hill before crossing the Ashley

Gorge bridge and descending into Oxford. Dave Inwood found a great spot for lunch by the river. The Field Test was won by Joseph McClintock and his answer to the question “What is the definition of a Field?” was “Large area to race around in cars and motorbikes and make dust” Peoples choice was won by Don Muller’s 1923 Ansaldo Overall winner for 2021 Leigh and Tony Craythorn driving 1926 Morris Oxford.
