COME OUT AND PLAY Spring / Summer 2018 Come Out & Play is our theme for Spring-Summer 2018. We want to entice you to get out and hop on your bikes ladies and gentlemen! Don’t wait for it. Today is a beautiful day! Get out and ride. Get that smile on your face. Enjoy the feeling of controlling that brutal machine of yours. Silently enjoy the envying looks of those seeing you pass by. But hey, riding a motorcycle can be a dangerous sport so make sure you’re zipped up in safety gear before you get on your bike. We know that many of you don’t feel like dressing up in full-combat mode. It is the reason for many amongst you not to ride as much as you’d like to and you’ll often just take the car to get some fresh rolls for Sunday morning breakfast whereas you’d rather would hop on the bike if not for the hassle of dressing up. We hear you, so that’s why we’ve developed a whole range of casually looking gear, following our Tailored Technology design philosophy. Inspired by the natural qualities of the skin, REV’IT! has developed the unique Engineered skin® design method to improve the fit and performance of motorcycle safety apparel. The Tailored Technology philosophy combines our years of experience and deep-rooted technical knowledge with our abiding love for fashion and design. The Tailored Technology concept incorporates essential road protection and functional details into REV’IT!’s stylish and elegant urban collection.
REV’IT! began developing its Engineered skin® design method back in 2001, when it set out to improve the functional performance of materials by relocating seams outside and away from high-impact zones. This innovative concept further evolved with advances in 3D design, new patterns and construction techniques.
All REV’IT! products are designed following the Engineered skin® philosophy that consists of three core principles: safety, functionality, design. The urban collection, however, is created according to the Tailored Technology design credo, which uses the same REV’IT! core principles, albeit with a different priority; one that puts design first, followed by safety and functionality. All three principles are equally important in both philosophies; only the sequence in which they are applied and the vision per design differs.

SEESMART™ limb protection offers the highest level of flexibility while passing the EN1621-1:2012 CE-Level 1 impact tests, also in hot conditions (T+) (+40 degrees Celsius / 104 degrees Fahrenheit). SEESMART™ RV34 ridged version that is used in our leather jackets even passes the EN1621-1:2012 CE-Level 1 impact tests in (T+) and cold (T-) (-10 degrees Celsius / 14 degrees Fahrenheit) conditions.
