Introduction

Welcome to the inaugural Vegan Party Conferencean eclectic collective comprised of regional and national campaign groups, grassroots activists, core vegan community and people interested in vegan, animal rights and plant-based activism and campaigning.

We’re thrilled to welcome such a diverse and inspirational collective of speakers, stallholders and visitors to the Conference and hope very much the Conference serves to inspire, inform, educate and activate and genuinely broaden our understanding of the modern-day movement with a view to getting more active and more effective whilst attracting new people to our collective.

At the Conference you will find a series of panels in the Main Hall, with a broad scope of topics, each with a clear focus and featuring a variety of expert and experienced panellists. On the Upper Floor you will find the Celebration Stage and a schedule of interviews, panels and presentations including a number of movement landmarks, and on the Lower Floor the 2 workshop rooms with a lineup of skill sharing and inspiring sessions. The Main Hall seats around 300 with a further 100 on the Balcony, the Celebration Stage 180, and the workshop rooms each around 40. Sessions start on the hour and finish at quarter to the hour allowing for 15 minutes turnaround between sessions.

You’ll also find a wide variety of most excellent food options at the Conference plus a real ale bar and a small vegan market present, plus around 40 campaign groups represented across all 3 floors.

The Conference is open from 10am - 7pm Saturday, and 10am - 6pm Sunday - arrive early and stay late, there’s a lot to take in at the Vegan Party Conference, and we hope you enjoy the experience immensely

Panels Saturday

A very broad scope of subjects covered in our schedule of 13 panels across the weekend featuring a range of experts across the movement spectrum, plus our keynote speech at 11am and the Cake Celebrations at 6pm on Saturday. Panels are 45 mins long, start on the hour and end at quarter to the hour, with 15-minute breaks before the next one starts. The Main Hall seats 300 with a further 100 on the Balcony.

The conference takes place on 3 floors. The Main Hall area includes the entrance to the event, a range of stalls and the panels take place in the Conference area. Upstairs there are more stalls along with the Celebration stage, and downstairs Workshops 1 & 2 take place with yet more wonderful stalls to browse at your leisure.

No Vegan Conference would be complete without an abundance of plant-based options and the Vegan Party Conference does not disappoint. A number of food and drink outlets are available at the Conference and here is a quick guide for those essentials!

On the Upper Floor by the Celebration Stage you will find the all-important Coffee Bar with Master Coffee Co, plus burgers and fries with Dirty Vurgerz, and the immaculate Macarons by Madeline

On the Ground Floor Foyer by the Main Hall, there’s several hot food caterers including Gillies Food, Feed the Village, Mel Tropical Kitchen and More Plantae, alongside the renowned Greek Vegan Deli and the legendary Vegan Sweet Tooth (cakes), ice cream from Yummy Chumz, patties from The Vegan Patty Lady plus drinks from The Maatcha Yaad, OCT Beverages and Clarkshaws Real Ale Bar. And there’s superfoods from All You Need

Some terrific stalls spread across the upper foyer and ground floor foyer, with a number of campaigns groups in between. Grab some merch from your fave campaign groups, browse some top quality vegan bodycare, footwear and accessories, sign some petitions, maybe join a new group, make a small donation or two and get involved in some of the many campaigns and initiatives represented at the Conference.

Celebration Stage

The Celebration Stage on the Upper Floor contains of mix of panels, interviews and presentations with a focus on campaigns and activism, whilst celebrating a number of significant landmarks within the movement. Also featuring the first Comedy Hour with headline acts. The Celebration Stage seats 180.
